Ok everyone.Here is the first part of a fanfic I have been working on for a week and a half.Just so you know I'm not competing with CKD and his fanfic.He was actually the first one I let know about this project.Remember to tell me what you think.Ok here we go:

Prolouge-Enter Maimi

There is always something to do in Japan.There are always things to do and people to see...
But Kieran had done absolutely nothing since arriving in Japan a week ago from America. He was there as part of a foreign exchange study program. But he hadn't been doing much studying.He had arrived during the winter break so school hadn't started back yet. The only thing he had been doing were chores for his host family, the Sakamotos.

The Sakamotos-husband and wife Junichiro and Aki-owned a guesthouse in Osaka. As a gesture of hospitality, Kieran was given the largest room.

Kieran's room was next to Satoshi, a long time resident of the guesthouse. Satoshi or "Toshi" as he was called by Kieran, showed Kieran around the town when he first arrived and was his best friend here.

Jiro, Toshi's brother had a room across from Kieran. He was seemingly friendly but mainly kept to himself and stayed in his room most of the time.

It was a cold day in January when Toshi said:

"Hey Kieran, my cousin is coming to town for work and she's staying here. Sakamoto-san said it was ok. Is that ok with you?"

"Sure", Kieran answered.

"Ok then.She should be here in an hour."

An hour later, Kieran was sitting in his room watching TV when he heard Toshi yell, "Kieran!Come meet my cousin!"

When Kieran got into the living room, he saw the Toshi talking to a tall girl with long black hair. When she noticed him, she turned, bowed, and said, "Hi, I'm Maimi Yajima.You must be Kieran.Nice to meet you."
