Thought I should write somehting about myself here, since I'm starting to post more on the forums!

(One day, I promise all of this will be flashy and cute, but until then you'll have to bear with plain text! )

Fell in love with H!P around the summer (in the Southern Hemisphere) of '05-'06, when I was looking up random Jpop videos and I happened across Berryz Koubou's "Koi no Jubaku". I was mystified at the appeal of 8 young girls singing with ridiculously high voices. But for some reason, I kept listening to it and it got stuck in my head. My obsession grew from there!

My initial favourite was Maiha and I was shocked to see her not in "Jiriri Kiteru" (which became my favourite Berryz song for ages, till "Monkey Dance" ). Needless to say I kept looking up videos and saw what I thought was the best pairing in Berryz (MiyaMaiha) but I somehow didn't realise my love for Miyabi until around the time of Buono!'s "Gachinko de Ikou!". My favourites fluctuated within Berryz (I think all of them were my favourite at one stage) and I've loved every single one of their songs!

C-ute debuted a few months after I got into H!P which was interesting, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to like "Sakura Chirari". I loved Ume and Maimi when I first found the group (Through the Berryz vs. C-ute performance at the WH 06 concert). Then when the "Meguru" PV appeared I instantly became a fan. A lot of C-ute singles are hit-and-miss for me, some songs I just can't like. But they have a few gems and I still love Maimi and Chisato. :3

Momusu... I heard about them when I got into Berryz, but for some reason I thought all their songs would be "old, mature and boring" . How wrong was I. I first saw "Ambitious" and disliked it and didn't watch another one of their PVs until the time of "Onna ni Sachi Are" (I think it was with news of Junjun/Linlin that piqued my interest). I thought it was good and looked up their older songs, and became the biggest fan of "Mr Moonlight" and "Koko ni Iruzee!" (subsequently two of my favourite MM singles!) and fell in love with Risa, Mikitty and Ayappe (suprisingly, I think it was her boobs in "Love Machine" rofl).

And from there I expanded into solo Mikitty/Ayaya/GAM, Melons, Coconuts (one of the best H!P groups ever, seriously. I am a Danielle Delaunay FANBOY), Country and so forth and so on.

S/mileage is the first group I've watch entirely from its conception and I'm really excited about how they'll turn out. Kanon.
