^Hiromi was actually from Chiba. Rinne was the only original member of Country Musume to be from Hokkaido. :)

Rinne, Asami, and Mai were the only members actually from Hokkaido.

Miki and KonKon were also from Hokkaido but then again, they were just "guest" members, haha.

99.99% to be a Hello Project song. Solo events aside, the only non H!P songs I can think of at H!P events were:
When UFA acts not in H!P perform (UUG, LovendoR, etc)
Ai wa Katsu (Tohoku Earthquake)
and last year Sakura Night Fever (it wasn't a Kobushi Factory song at the time)

If there are others, please DO point it out. Maybe my image of H!P preeeety much only doing H!P songs is wrong?

I bet if she could get permission and clone herself, she'd sing a Kobukuro song as her "solo" :D

Slightly off topic of course, there have been a few more instances that I know of where the girls sang non-H!P songs.

The most prominent occurrence I remember was the girls of Melon Kinenbi each covering an English song at one of their concerts (unless you'd consider that solo event since it was their concert alone, haha.)

I don't quite recall what Hitomi, Megumi, or Ayumi sang, but I clearly recall Ohtani singing "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion.

There used to be recordings of each performance lingering around on the forums somewhere. The concert was released on DVD as well.

Those songs had been cut out of the DVD of course, they probably didn't any rights to release them.

I'm pretty sure there was the odd cover here and there in the early years as well. T&C Bomber covering Zurui Onna before their re-recording ever surfaced (they covered it during their 2000 concert but the studio version didn't come out until 2008 with their best of album) may count, but they were originally Tsunku/Sharam Q songs, haha.

^ With basically a year between this single and their "1116" album and more than a year since "Yuuki Superball" I think they did relatively well. Especially with a drastic name change and switching labels. They only went down about 3k sales between "Never Never Give Up" and "Yuuki Superball" which is pretty amazing in my eyes. I was expecting a huge dip in sales so I was pleased to say the least. But then again that's just my opinion. These girls do have a very loyal fanbase from what I've seen over the years. Even when they had those huge breaks in between releases their sales never drastically changed. I just think they did well with the circumstances at hand, haha.

Regarding Yukako Love Deluxe, I made this post on tumblr and thought I'd transfer it over to here too in case any one was interested in the mysterious pre-debut drop out of BiSH. Honestly, after figuring out her vocals in Sparks I fell in love with her voice. She sings quite lovely. She's also quite pretty, honestly much prettier than I was expecting from her pre-debut Bish photo~

"So I decided to look her up a bit more to see if I could dig anything up and it actually wasn’t too hard.

She has her BiSH stage name in her new twitter bio so it was a quick search, haha.

Here is Yukako’s new twitter

And I was finally able to find her pre-BiSH band as well. And it seems as though that she’s getting the band back together after going on hiatus a while before joining BiSH.

The band’s name is  魅起法則 (MIKINORME)

They had one PV from the album they dropped back in February 2014.

SOKUBAKU PV"
