Fan of much that is Japanese...

I discovered the joy of Japanese culture (Anime/Manga/JPop/etc.) relatively recently. I delight in every new discovery I make and I'm eager to share my enthusiasm. I'm slowly trying to learn Japanese, hopefully this year I can really make real progress!

On music, I like (so far- not in order):

Namie Amuro, Ayumi Hamasaki, Do As Infinity, Stereopony, Gackt (unplugged particularly), Hitomi, AKB48, Buono!, Berryz Kobo (still conflicted on the Kobo/Koubou bit- they always seem to use "Kobo" themselves...)

Anime/Manga:

Maison Ikkoku, Negima!, Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha, xxxHolic, Tsubasa, Magic Knight Rayearth, Chobits, Ranma 1/2, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, and numerous others...

Anything from Studio Ghibli is fantastic!
