First, thanks SparklingMelrosePool, I watched all your past work, like Yaguchi no Minimoni Sotsugyou Sura no da Pyon, Yuko Graduation Ceremony, Interviews, Morning Cop movie, everything... you're a legend.

And I wonder when Taka-san started picking on Yasuda.

I think he started picking on Kei on Utaban - (2000-08-10) Pucchi Moni - Seishun Jidai, before that episode Kei it was indifferent to Taka-san, but in this ep. the whole show is only picking toward Kei, so hilarious.

Even on Pucchi Moni Chocotto Love episode (after Love Machine success) he don't picking on Yasuda, it was on Seishun Jidai ep., I'm sure.

Just out of curiosity, why did HPS choose to sub those six episodes? Were the two other shows from '99 and the two from '98 not interesting enough or have they already been subbed by someone? Why those six?

I love them, no doubt, and I'm very grateful for the subs because my Japanese is still not very good, I'm just asking out of curiosity …

It's a combination of availability and interest, really. Of those four other episodes, I only have two of them saved (I think I had the others at some point, but they were some of the many videos I lost in a hard drive crash last year). One of them has already been subbed: http://www.hello-onl...p;torrent=11327 And the other one (1999-02-16) really isn't that interesting an episode. It has its moments, but it's nothing like the awesomeness of the six later episodes that year. About the only point of interest in it is the origin of Johnson's name - the rest isn't that funny, in my opinion. (Or maybe it's just the presence of Fukuda in the episode that brings it all down for me... )

As for why I chose to stop at the end of 1999, there's just one reason: Kuroe. Once Ishiguro (my all time favourite MM member) left the group, the show lost a lot of its appeal for me.

On a tangentially related note, I am very interested in Taiyo & Cisco Moon - especially the incomparable RuRu - but I haven't seen a single episode of them on Utaban. If any of those were to show up, I might feel quite inclined to look into subbing them. I'm not making a request, mind you - just throwing that out there...
