I hardly mess around with it nowadays because I set my MPC Star to play every type of
media file on my system. I just found it faster to load up (literally a second). The only problem
with MPC is that, unlike Winamp, there isn't a equalizer for the audio for me to adjust the sound...but oh well.

On Linux I recently switched from xmms to Audacious, both Winamp clones.
I probably I'll give foobar2000 a try, since tons of people recommend it every time the topic of music players comes up.

Eventually I fixed it somehow, and I now use WMP.
It was way too scary though, having over 40 GB of videos not working right.

then your windows must be a really bad cracked(who uses real versions anyway)seeing how my windows isnt exactly...uh..."real" ...my WMP doesnt work. So i just use bearshare's player
