The 3 Maasa/Miyabi/Yurina Berryz Kobo 3.3 19th FC Events on March 5.

Massa was absent from the first event due to work.

Much of the time during the events was devoted to discussing the favorite BK songs selected in 3 groups by 66 current active Hello!Project members.

The events began with VTRs by Mizuki talking about her real love for Berryz, the songs that were chosen, and her own favorites (I wish we could see these videos!).

Comments by many members like Kishimon, Ruru, Akane, Kitagawa, Ebata, Marine, Ayumi, Rikako, Uemura, Ichioka, and others were also on VTR and shared by MC Keita Suzuki from booklets that had been printed.

 

Question to H!P members: favorite Berryz Kobo song. Poll results:

Mizuki's favorite Berryz song is Ohiru no Kyuukei Jikan.

Mizuki's choice was Gag 100... (Miya joked "because of Momo!").

Fukuhime also talked about how much she admired the performances by the Berryz members in Heroine. Maasa, Miya amd Kumaicho agreed that it was a difficult song, and discussed the reasons. And Yurina said she was "terrified" every time she had to sing the final "HEROINE".

Akane picked Anshinkan, and said that some people say her voice is similar to Kumai-chan's.

Kitagawa wants to sing Asian Celebration with them.

Kurumin: Gag 100...

 

Miyabi wants Mama and Yurina to appear in M-Line Special Magical Wish.

During the Q&A  Kumai was asked to do one of her "crazy" improvised dances.

Maasa said that besides theater acting she wants to do voice work.

Kumai-chan's voice started to get hoarse during the third event, because she had talked so much during the first two.

Looking at the audience, Miyabi noted that many of them looked very young... which turned out to be true. She is happy that Berryz Kobo is still making fans.

And a happy birthday to Momochi!

^Thanks for always bring the update on such events. Love to see the Berryz spirit being kept alive.

 

The good thing that Pink Cres's disbandment is that Miyabi can do more events with the Berryz members. I don't recall seeing her being so actively involved in Berryz related stuff when she was still a member of Pink Cres.

I am glad we still have 3 girls carrying the torch for the group although I wish Risako could have just attended one of these events since she is still with the agency.

It's really nice to see the girls still meet up occasionally. Despite already not being in the entertainment industry, it still nice to see Captain, Chinami and Risako still having their photos taken without any masking. I wonder when we will see all 7 girls together in one photo.

Maasa Sudo Miyabi Natsuyaki Yurina Kumai Casual Dinner Shows 2023 

 

Happening today December 15, and also Dec. 16 and 17.

 

It was announced recently that Miya would not appear due to illness. However, this changed at the last minute. She appeared on stage for the encore/MC and even sang. She also took part in the 4shot photo shoot with fans.

I am sorry for posting again.

 

I updated the setlist information in my previous post. 

The fans were very happy with the selection of songs (not surprisingly  ).

Miyabi appeared at the Encore of all of the shows. She seemed fine in spite of her recent illness, and Kumaazu were funny as usual during the rest of the performances.

^I agree on a single part. They could easily form a sub-group? But I am so happy these 3 are still continuing the Berryz legacy and especially Maasa. To think she admitted that she became an idol by chance.

Throughout my time being a fan while they were still active, I've had moments where I loved each and every member but the 3nin lineup definitely has me appreciating Yurina a lot more than I did in the past.

Ai no Dungan and Futsuu, Idol 10nen Yatterannai Desho!? were also performed. During the latter, Yurina sang the lyric "I want to be a model", and Maasa sang "I want to be an actress"  .

It was good to see Chinami and Risako celebrate Berryz' 20th anniversary on their Insta stories. Rii sharing fan tributes to BK was especially nice.
