I actually didn't know Fairies never performed at budokan. I just assumed they were popular enough to have done so but should have assumed not when they disappeared without me even noticing.

Just got my single !

 

Delight is beautiful. It feels like an anime song. It has a "pretty" vibe. The song opens with a Haachin solo part. Everyone gets basically the same number of lines. Mahiro's vocal is used at it's full potential and the group lines sounds better. Not that they bothered me in the first place XD

 

The B-Side, Bokutachi No Shippai (Our mistakes), is also a very pretty ballad, but it's surprising because, while it's not mentionned in the booklet, the song isn't a group song. It's a solo for Mahiro. Maybe the other three are doing the background vocals, but it definetly feels like a solo. And a pretty good one.

 

Overall, i think it's a great single that sounds completly different compared to their previous OP and previous work as idols (well, i can only speak for Kana and Haachin, but you know what i mean). I wish the main song got an MV, though they probably didn't have enough budget after their trip to the US. But it seems like the single is selling well so far. If i remember correctly, the EP was more at the bottom of Top 20 for the first day sales. This time, they are 11th. I can't wait to see what the future holds for this group ^^

They ranked 18th with 2214 copies. I know it's probably because they're from idol groups so they have already a fanbase but usually for this kind of group, it's a miracle when they sell 1000 copies so i'm happy for the girls!
