Is this a cross between Buono! and Beyooooonds?

On another note, a new Beyooooonds' radio show, with Icchan and Momohime as main hosts, will fire up on 12/4 on Nack5........I think it's replacing Kanatomo's Vivid Midnight.

Beyooooonds 2022 Hall Tour! Also, THEIR FIRST BUDOKAN!

I started crying with them as it was with the hall tour announcement, even more with the Budokan announcement. THEY'VE DESERVED THIS FOR SO LONG. I'm so happy for them T_T

 

This is their first hall tour isn't it? The pandemic kind of killed their flow at the beginning.

Yes! The tour they had lined up in '20 was completely canceled because of the pandemic. Just coming off the 1st single going to #1 and winning the Best New Artist Award, they had all this momentum.......then it came to a complete stop.

That's OK though because then we got to see Miimi recite the complete periodic chart of elements.

Now H!P announced that all five groups will be having a spring tour simultaneously, criss-crossing the country playing the same venues at different times. For example, the last date of the tour, June 4th, has Beyooooonds playing a concert in Sapporo at 3:30, followed by Tsubaki Factory playing the same venue at 7. I'll presume Beyooooonds' Budokan date will be soon after that.

BEYOOOOONDS introduced a new song at their concert, "Only Lonely" written and arranged by Hoshibe Sho.

The opening day of the tour, in Osaka, had BEYOOOOONDS playing the early show and Momusu playing the later show.......so the Momusu members got to watch BEYOOOOONDS entire show on monitors in the dressing room. Evidently the opportunities for H!P members to watch their stable-mates' concerts is rare as Miki, Akane and Kaedii gushed about how BEYOOOOONDS has a personality that allows them to do things Momusu can't do!

First article I saw reporting the Budoooookan concert. Encore song was a new song, "Castanets of Tears," which ties into their recent promotion of selling castanets.

Using the castanet as an audience mechanic when they're not allowed to shout in this pandemic is very clever tbrh. I hope it takes a good momentum riding from the successful concert

Here's a review of the Budoooookan concert from Rolling Stone. Again, the author emphasized the third element of acting out skits that no other idol group has perfected.

Special praise was given to Momohime for her command of the stage, and it was mentioned how much the group's singing abilities have improved, noting Yuha's excellence has only gotten better as had the unnamed weaker singers (Utano 😀 ).

The reviewer mentioned that some songs had been reworked, the "Boy with Glasses" tunes were presented in a medley with skits and that "We Need A Name" had been totally redone, something I'm really looking forward to seeing.
