I think she looks like a young Yanamin.

I thought that too! Not because of facial features though, but because of the ratio of the size of her head to hear neck/shoulders. Yanamin also started out with a narrow body relative to her head, but filled out at she grew up. I expect Karin will do the same!

Hoping to see his debut and where.
I didn't have a lot of knowledge about the things and information coming out of the Kenshuusei, but I saw a recent performance by them, and Karin loved it, I will be attentive to know more about her.

I've not been so ecstatic about a girl to debut since Aina Otsuka in 2013 !

 

I consider her as good as Rofu Runo and Natsume Nakayama.

It would be cool to see her in Morning Musume. She could be like

Karin set the bar very high for her shindan test by choosing "Mugen Climax" by C-ute.

Not only the song is highly respected, it's not so easy to do in solo. The expectation will be huge, but she will surely do something extraordinary.

Her mandatory (assigned) song will be "Kimagure princess".

 

Meanwhile. I'm watching Maachan perfoming "Mugen Climax" in solo to appreciate it again, and see what Karin is going to face.

I also expect great things from Karin. Her singing will likely be very good--it's really her stage presence that I'm curious about this year. Really looking forward to it!

Looks like we’re using the wrong kanji for “Karin”. I looked at the up front website and just confirmed it.

I have to wonder if it was a mistake on the site they quietly fixed at some point, because I usually copy/paste the names directly from the site when I finalize thread updates here and when I make Generasia pages for the new Kenshuusei (it's wrong there too).

 

Anyhow, I'll fix the thread.

I oshi her, and i felt bad using the incorrect spelling in my twitter account ! I had to know.

 

Note: Now, i know the correct spelling... but, i search news using both the correct and the incorrect spelling as some jp fans does the same mistake...

 

 

@Verilian thanks. I didn't check her official uf profile, but noticed her "One plus One" video and kenshusei_uf twitter account were using the correct spelling.

 

@Nayok-Kihara Yes. I found a comment from a fan in 2018 that says the kanji in her KSS profile, differ from her stage name as a kid.
