I hope this is only temporary, for there were many of them!

Ok, that is unfortunate, but still not the same as losing the complete history from my topics.

Actually they are still in the database of the server, but they are not showing up
The thread id seems to be restored to a previous number
The thread id of this thread is 26357

Creating new threads now will reuse those same thread ids and those threads may be overwritten and lost forever?


idk whether I should recreate new threads for those disappeared or continue to wait for them to be recovered/restored

I put my findings here in case they could help the recovery

After the server resumed yesterday,

- Posts replied after 3/25 disappeared <- This seems to be fixed now
(At first, when we replied on a thread, the old replies after 3/25 reappeared on that thread. After some time (30 minutes?), the old replies after 3/25 on all the threads reappeared even though there was no new reply. I think someone did some database updates?)

- Posts replied just a few hours before server went offline disappeared <- I think this cannot be recovered as the data is lost

- Threads created after 3/25 disappeared <-This is the important bit. We really want those missing threads back

- The modifications after 3/25 on the titles of the threads created before March 25th were undone <-This doesn't matter now. We could update again.

- "About Me" and "Signature" returned to the old statuses <-This doesn't matter now. We could update again.

About the "Threads created after 3/25 disappeared" issue

davidguy3237 and I tried "Start New Tropic" and accidentally recovered 4 threads after 3/25

When I tried 5 times more (sorry for doing this, I will not do this again), new threads with thread ids 26352, 26353, 26354, 26355 and 26356 were created instead of bringing back those threads after 3/25
Not sure if someone did some updates on the database after 26351 was recovered so the trick was no longer working
Or may be the threads with those thread ids were deleted previously

Did you click "Start New Tropic" to create new thread to recover that thread and then delete you reply?

Yes, but do not do this yourself. Checking one more time if this can be done automatically, but if not I will brute force the threads back myself.

Quick question, is anyone else having the problem of not being able to go to page 2 of the image board? I was wondering if it's got to do with the site having gone down or if there's issues with my DNS or maybe something else. I keep getting this error message:

"www.hello-online.org Driver Error
There appears to be an error with the database."

If anyone else has experienced this problem but fixed it, please let me know.

I think the replies by haku are needed to be removed so the threads will be returned to their original sub-forums and titles,
and those pages after page 1 of the threads should be able to link back to the thread

Something tells me if I tried to create a NEW thread for Tamura Meimi or Angerme I'd get yelled at.

 

I've made multiple posts over the past 24 hours and STILL, nothing appears in my My Content section.   This thread included.

I figured it out!!  I don't know if this was a new heading added or not, but although there is nothing under my content, I just noticed a selection from my drop down menu that says content I follow.  That has all of the threads I thought that I had lost!

I also saw the number next to "Follow this topic" of some of the threads (may be those missing new threads only) reduced

Actually, I've been having this problem since before the recent troubles. When somebody mentioned it in the Status Updates a few months ago, someone shared this link to use, which works for me, though it obviously isn't the way I would prefer to use that board!
