Okay I adore Nigemizu, and i think the pauses work well if it's done ONCE and before the first chorus of the song, but after that, it doesn't need to be done again imo. Or even just doing it for the performances and MV, but not the audio. Listening to it in audio is a little annoying because it kinda halts the lead up to the second chorus and kills the mood a bit. I can already see them skipping that break during the performances after this singles promotions lol.

^It really is quite the kami song (imo), Yuki and Momoko are lucky to have this song as their first senbatsu AND center songs. I feel like this is the turning point for 3rd gen and Nogizaka, they really are the future of the group. 

 

someone cut the breaks so its just the song, and honestly.....i think i prefer it with the cuts now welp though thats probably because the person cut it at the wrong time, but they tried so..

For curiosity, who are the ones on the regular cover? I can only recognize Miria, Ranze, Hinako and Mizuki. And would that cover mean that Mizuki is promoted as a full member?

Billboard calls 925,531 sales for this single. I think for 1st day. I can't tell with the Japanese. But it's impressive.

Fans on stage48 are disappointed with the sales but I think they are great.

im disappointed because i was hoping for a 1mil first day/week.. but despite that, these are amazing sales for the group!

That's 5k more that Influencer, so it's an increase, though it's smaller than expected. Job well done to Nogi!

Answering to my own question, the members featured in this cover are:

 

1st gen: Saito Yuri & Nakamoto Himeka

2nd gen: Kitano Hinako, Terada Ranze & Watanabe Miria

3rd gen: Umezawa Minami, Yamashita Mizuki, Kubo Shiori & Ito Riria.

 

It's curious how they featured more 3rd gen members.

I read in s48 about the symbolism in the Nigemizu MV, specially the fact that neither Ito Marika, Inoue Sayuri and Shinuchi Mai were inside the house, probably because they've never been Fukujin. And it makes me think the house represents the media Nogi ( the Nogi for the public)  and all who have been Fukujin belong to it. Based on that theory, it called me the atention when I watched again the MV and saw that Shinuchi Mai was trying to enter the house but couldn't because she was possed as if she was being held back, since there was also a place reserved for her inside the house, I could speculate that she will be in Fukujin for the next single. Also I saw Sayuri and Marika like if they were leaving the place, so they could be out of the next senbatsu. It'd be really interesting if management were really giving a hint of how the next senbatsu will be. I'm excited now.

if that's true, that would be one hell of a plot twist lol. 

nogi are much more giving when it comes to theories like that as compared to say akb, so i wouldn't be surprised if that theory did turn out to be true~
