Hello everyone!

 

Today, I've been thinking about giving the elimination game some sort of reboot.

The reason for this is because the current round has been on since November and thus it gives users few reasons to continue.

 

So, in summary, this is what I came up with...
I think that it might be good to start a new thread and name it Haro! Puro Elimination Game 2021. That way, the updated rules could be on the very start, leading into less confusion. And it also opens the possibility of making the game more like annual event than just a never ending one.

I have also been playing with the idea of not splitting the girls into rounds not based on which group they come from, but following a different criteria instead.

 

What do you say to this suggestion?

^ And I happened to be on a break for a week and only remembered to check this now, lol.

Anyway, the idea I've been playing with is splitting the girls into the year(s) of their debut - mostly due to the fact that some group had half the members of another until recently... but now with each having 10-14 members that shouldn't be a problem.

Or, we could try something slifhtly different than this system which haa developed until now... with the inspiration takes from one of the wikis - where we wouldn't only eliminate one girl each round and then reset the points of others - but start at 0 at let each girl reach either -5 or +5

I'm ok with either method (resetting the points after an elimination or not) but one criteria could be by member color?

Colors sounds like a nice idea, but at the moment we have like 7+8 members without one, so that would make us go without them or wait until they are revealed... and on the second thought with years of debut, 2019 would be BEYO heavy, so maybe going by groups this time around might actually make the most sense after all.

Another option to start out with while we wait for colors to be announced for the new members could be leaders (and maybe sub-leaders?). The list right now would be : Fukumura Mizuki, Takeuchi Akari, Kanazawa Tomoko, Yamagishi Riko, Ichioka Reina, Takase Kurumi, Hirai Miyo, Ikuta Erina, Ishida Ayumi, and Kawamura Ayano (and Inaba Manaka for KSS Hokkaido lol).

Another criteria we have never done and would probably be good at randomizing the girls is by birthday month

Birthday month is an interesting idea to have, but I admit that I have already jumped into preparations for the +/- contest based on groups since now seems to be a suitable time to do so... (yeah, you can blame me for acting ahead...)

I tried to set the rules and everything in a way that it wouldn't later need me (or specifically someone else) to overview the whole game as host (as in telling in the middle of the game what to do)...

I think that since I happened to be so active in this field... how about we give it a try to finish the usual group-based matches for now (with the new system) and then possibly do the different criteria stuff another time?
