I just remembered multiple conversations I had on Tumblr about things like "who do you think is going to be the first member to have a scandal" or "If your oshi got into a scandal, what would it be", and thought I'd bring this to the good folks of Hello! Online.

 

So, exactly what it says on the tin, who is going to get into the next scandal, and what did they do?*

 

*This is all tongue in-cheek of course. You can be realistic if you prefer, or you can make your theories as silly and over-the-top as you want, bc let's face it, a thread that's nothing but "Ayacho was seen with a dude" isn't as entertaining as "The reason Zukki is graduating is because she's planning on kidnapping Obama and colonizing Jupiter" crackpot theories

I actually think Morning Musume have been rather lucky when it comes to scandals. They don't get nearly as many tabloids trying to ruin their image. It kinda makes me wonder, is it because the girls themselves don't give them a reason to create scandals, or is it because the guys creating the articles don't think the girls (or MM in general) are relevant enough to have a scandal..

There's a lot of lesser known idol groups than MM that get exposed in scandals by tabloids/magazines so I doubt relevance is a problem. They're either better at hiding it than older members or they're all just following the rules and being innocent.

All of the new girls seem to be honor roll student types, I don't think we'll see another Yaguchi - Kago type scandal (if that's what we are referring to) anytime soon... I'd be shocked to be honest.
