2ch speculated that Avex was putting pressure on having NMB48 cancel their music cards...

I'd understand somewhat if AKS got involved after seeing the numbers and not wanting to have AKB upstaged, but if it's more to do with avex, screw them. Just seems out of place that they'd cancel after being sold out. Clearly there was a number there someone didn't like.

hmm .. honestly .. I don't understand how could Avex pressure another record label ..
if they can do it .. they would not be like struggling with quite many acts of their that are not selling well at all ..
Furthermore .. I dunno how could NMB48 release music card ..as it seem only pretty big record companies have them ..
My most logical guess is .. NMB48 record label thought they could do it but got hit a technological, legal, financial or Oricon charting hurdle .. and decide to cancel it ..
But that is my guess going by no conspiracy theory .. :D

for example, from what I know Music Card would only count when the is code use in a download .. which would mean that Oricon should have some security, audit or checks on the system so that no fake download counts would be counted .. now how it works? I got no idea but I don't think it would be as easy as to just tell Oricon to trust them .. XD as such NMB48's record label only had like 1 month + to set it up .. So I think they may run into some problem ..
furthermore .. Music Cards are not going to count soon ..so there must be a cost to invest in order to have it but it has no long term usability .. I think they may decide that it is not a good idea to invest on a new music product systems for just 1 single of NMB48..
these are my reasoning .. :)
LOL .. these are just common business experience that new stuff always run into problems and delays on the intended roll out date .. :P

Lol.. here is the deal..
I only know Avex and Universal music has music card..
I dunno if like others have it or is there like a secondary service provider for it..
The thing is.. if you think NMB48 records label is big then no way Avex can pressure them..
But if you think they are small.. then it is tougher for them to have music cards

Let's not talk about the tragedy that is my photo pulls. Only two of the six are original NMB members and two of them aren't even in the group anymore.  :itadakimasu: Oh well. I think this is actually the first Umechan photo I've ever gotten.

I noticed these two sites:

https://ch.chara-ani...hall7/info.aspx

https://ch.chara-ani...hall8/info.aspx

Are these applications for events where you have to pay COD at a Japanese address or can I use my TENSO address?

They are for bulk ordering the theater edition for the event lottery ticket (no guarantee of winning as its random), you can pay by means other than cod, so using tenso should not be a problem, however you can not use them regardless of that as they require you to put your name in kanji and the name has to be exactly as in the id you will need, so unless you have a japanese passport / driving license or residence registration card you will be screwed.

Ares13, so you think NMB48 will sell more than 194,000 in one day and all of a sudden be in the lead..?

Sorry .. I am not 100% certain but I would post anyway ..
I have check and found that the I can't log into this "Chara Ani Chance" with my "AKB48 Chara Ani" account
but I found that the profile of AKB48 Chara Ani also require Kanji name which I have use my name in English character
You can use the Japanese character encoding and the site would accept the name in English character ..
Here is the example
In Japanese encoding, it is call full width alphanumeric
as compare to our normal encoding, their system may accept the name in English ..

er .. but for Nagiichi when they went against Arashi .. there was a 91K on Saturday even though that didn't help them beat against Arashi ..
oh .. strange I realise sometimes I could see the chart you post .. that's why I see it immediately about the Nagiichi sales ..
but it happens randomly .. when I refresh it a couple of time .. it turn back into that tiny format I can't read again .. :(

I had no problems using my name in English as I just had to use double byte characters - like how Ares typed it out.  I used the following:

http://myaidol.net/m...s-2shot-guide/

as a guide when I applied for the AKB's album 2shot event.  Then I created another account using the same method to apply for HKT HS event (same site as NMB).

The random 2shot sounds like fun even though I hardly know any of the members and Milky is probably sold out for the HS event :(

I was just going by the text on the website where they say it won't work, but it is possible that they don't enforce that restriction despite memtioning it.
