Congrats to her graduating language school in Vancouver
6 months went by so fast? Happy for her as she'll head back to Japan with memories of her North American stay

That video of her finishing school has garnered 28k views so far, kind of "going viral", about twice the normal view count. There are many comments as well. Japanese sure like school
^ What's your source there, KIN?
Here's what she's bringing back home as gifts:
I can't believe she's bringing back chips! Won't they get crushed(?), they take up a lot of space
It's going to be exciting to see her perform again (at a solo event, and then at Fuku Grad). I wonder what she'll sing.

Yeah, language takes time to learn. I'm sure Chisaki won't have any trouble finding language partners, so we can expect that her skills will continue to grow over time. And I think it's clear that she is a clever and hard working girl. The question is, now that she's gotten the size of it, how far does she want to go, how important is it to her?
Did she say that she thought Vancouver was expensive? I mean, it definitely is(!) but I don't remember that.
Yup, there definitely could have been some weird problems with the homestay situation. I've never been involved in a homestay but it seems like you sort of have to be into building a relationship with the host family. And as they were saying in earlier videos there are rules, like curfew, etc, and some families are more stringent than others. All in all I can see a homestay making life difficult for a beautiful young woman wanting to have some fun on her own. Of course, there is safety and the like provided by a homestay, but they probably aren't as useful as they were say, 20 years ago, before the internet was this advanced.
I'm just glad that Chiichan made it home in one piece tbh

Come to think of it, share houses have the downside that they can devolve into anarchy. Besides keeping different hours, different people have their own ideas of cleanliness. I hated sharing a bathroom and kitchen with some roommates. (The bad ones seem to stick in my memory a lot more than the good ones, but there were also lots of good housemates). Negotiating how things are going to be run can be tricky sometimes, which is different without a university or agency in charge.
Dragon7, you mention how there are lots of language schools in Vancouver. Chiichan mentioned how there was a larger variety of people in this latest school, compared to NZ. She was speaking positively about people from Latin America. But given Vancouver's overwhelmingly strong Chinese influence I can't help but think that she made some good Chinese (or Chinese-Canadian) friends. I can imagine people walking up to her starting to chatter, only to receive a hesitant "ah... konnichiwa".
Yes, there was a sense of disappointment in her video.

Chisafan, I have friends who have rented out to Japanese students. They said those students are well polite and doing their best in learning english. Also wished my friends would have rented out to Chii-chan but c'est la vie . It would have been to bump into her but I'm no stalker and will respect her privacy
Majority of international students coming here are mainly from India, Latin America, China, and Korea. However there have been news regarding unlicensed english schools from bad companies so hope those students researched before coming to Canada. Hopefully Chii-chan picked a good legit english school. Of course she wouldn't travel alone without her new friends/classmates as well.
Again Chii-chan's experience here in Vancouver was full on positive, and nothing will take that away from her.

Ahh, I see... a Japanese-only share house! I was wondering if such a thing existed in The Big City, but I forget that all kinds of things are available there. That would seem to be an ideal solution, because trying to communicate with other foreigners, in English(!), would be hard.
That's too bad you didn't get to bump into her Well, you can cross the Pacific Ocean and shell out 5000yen (if you're lucky?) to see her solo event later this month.
I found this site in Vancouver that facilitates homestays: https://lvhomestay.com/
Looking at their prices it doesn't seem that expensive considering the price of rent these days. "Long-Term ~$1200/month".
Relevant song (I'm sure Chiichan has run across this one before):

^ Yeah, they were in a Chinese household together at first. But that was at the start. They switched around a fair bit, mostly because they wanted to be with native speakers. I think they started out in a Japanese household. Nacky said that it worked out for the best because the native NZ accent is not that easy to understand when you're just starting out.
Chiichan went out with Nonaka-chan. (And dyed her hair blonde!~ ).

After going bleached blonde (not fully though?), Chiichan went brown, and now after Neverending Shine she's gone back fully to dark hair - kurokami. She says that they had to bleach it again and then use a purple dye.
Here is Fukuhime on her special day, preparing to throw Chiichan into the dungeon for being too kawaii.
Edit: here are pics with her fellow Morning OGs .
She looks tall when Mizupon isn't in the frame
She took the time to write some thoughts about each OG as well.
Bonus: Sexy myo---n pose around her mini-live

So 5 posts in a few days for Chiichan - she's unstoppable
There were matching posts from Ami and Mai.
See her with Chel, sticking out that tongue and then giving the dissatisfied look? Yeah, with brown hair Chiichan gets gyaru flavor or something
She went for a drive to the beach with her sister, but no pics of sis
At the hotel dinner with Ami the congratulations dessert was a surprise!

^ I believe the MC at her solo event was a fan named Takeda Chiisa. It's interesting that her kanji is the same as Chisaki's name (minus the 'ki' part).
Chiichan had to re-dye her hair dark. I guess that purple dye doesn't last long?
