Yeah it's ridiculous. I had to re-read the above a few times before I understood what I was actually seeing. They need to re-evaluate what they're doing and what's going on.

But it's a scary prospect that there's pretty much just one girl that is rock solid in NMB48. After Milky's stupid scandal, her popularity took a hard hit. And who else are there? Not many, at least not from this first round and its results. Of course there's Shuu, Yuuri, etc. but these girls needs to be more known.
What happens to NMB48 the day Sayanee graduates, which honestly could just as well be tomorrow as it could be in 2-3 years...

I agree... even though I suspect that is an unintended effect of the pushes in HKT. That being said, HKT has put members forward quite differently than the other groups, for instance the kenkyuuseis has been more "in use" in performances imo. And the differences between member and kenkyuusei are far less in HKT than in the other groups, as I see it.

What helps with HKT48 is that they managed to front a lot of the girls from early on when they were smaller in numbers, and rotated doing this, and that strategy has continued, even with third generation girls entering. Of course NMB48 as a whole is larger, and they have been around for longer too, but I do think HKT48's way of doing things is ultimately superior in comparison. And again, compare number of girls that graduates from NMB48 yearly with how things are in HKT48. It's completely different.

Yes, the graduations are symptomatic, I think. Especially with the number of kenkyuuseis graduating this year from NMB (and SKE as well).
The feeling of not getting anywhere no matter how hard they work and how good they perform, makes it that much easier to choose education etc
over staying on, I reckon.
I think NMB should, as some of you said, actually push more members forward when it comes to singles. I don't think a single with a double center of for instance Uuka and Shuu (just an example) would put a nail in NMB's coffin. I think that would increase sales, if only for the novelty of it. Nor would Sayaka choose to graduate over that alone, in fact I think she would be understanding about it or even support it.
Anyways, they need to do something, as Kaneko Takeshi mentioned after the sousenkyo.
Maybe he should center the next single, with his ukulele and halo 
that would be thinking outside the box!

Got my copies of the album. Great packaging again, each version comes with a photo (first time!) and school ID cards for two members.

The school ID cards are pretty neat, just because you get old photos of everyone, I'm not sure if they're junior high photos or high school photos, but here are some more.

I got Chiho/Murashige and Miru/Konomin in addition to what's on the matome. Getting Kaneko would be awesome, but the novelty would quickly wear off when I realize I could've had Fuuchan/Moka instead.

I like Ibiza Girl, but that guy in the PV is really annoying to watch. Especially that scene with the graffiti *shudders*
A little off topic, but when their first album came out last year and sold what it did, I wondered why SKE's album didn't sell as high.
