Mine was probably Sailor moon or DBZ in 2005ish. Hardly remember what happened in either of them though...

Captain Tsubasa back when I was 3 or 4 years old... Though in Latin America it was called "Súper Campeones" (Super Champions). The first anime I started watching on purpose was Pokémon though but in neither case I knew what was anime. The first anime I knew as anime was Pretty Cure.

Candy Candy, but I didn't know it was an anime. I was like 9-10 years old. Then started to watch anime knowing what anime was, started with Digimon.

I don't remember the very first one I watched. Back then we didn't even know it was an "anime". It was just "cartoon" with a bit more story to them. 
Probably mine was "The Wonderful Adventures of Nils", or "Anne of Green Gables", or "Captain Future".
Later, the first shows we actually watched/ recognized as anime it was "Bubblegum Crisis", "Akira", and other 80s cyberpunk classics like that.

Princess Tutu. My grandmother showed it to me, thinking it was a regular cartoon. Still my fav anime to this day.

Another tick for Speed Racer, from when I was very young. I'd watch it any time I went to someone's house that had television since I didn't have one back then. The first time I watched one religiously though was DBZ.
