This thread really needs some serious work and updates.

For now we are in contract negotiations with two Japanese idol groups to come perform the event. Additionally, we are in negotiation with several western artists. The names are confidential due to the nature of this sort of thing, but you'll know as soon as we're allowed to release news publicly.

 

Preregistration is $35. You may preregister here. On February 15 it will go up to $45. 

Submissions for the Idol music video contest is now open. Prizes will include idol goods, many of which are signed.

Additionally, if you would like to host a panel at the event, submit your ideas using this form. 

If you are interested in being an artist or selling your merchandise, artist alley and dealers hall applications will be up starting next week. Dealer's table is $100 and the Artist's table is $75.

We are also accepting sponsors for guests and the event. If you or your company is interested in sponsoring guests or events at Idol Matsuri, please email us at [email protected]

Advertising rates for the program guidebook are as follows: 

• Quarter page - $80 monochrome/ $100 color
• Half page - $100 monochrome / $150
• Full page - $150 monochrome/ $200
• Inside front cover -- / $400 color only
• Inside back cover -- / $400 color only
• Back cover -- / $500 color only

* Please note that priority for advertising on the inside front cover, back cover, and inside back cover go to sponsorship package buyers.

Sorry for the...triple post, but I wanted to say that Idol Matsuri is happening this year on August 14-16! It's going to be at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center in Seattle, WA! Start saving your money, preregistration opens soon! Hope to see you all there!

I hope I can go this year, I live near Seattle (10 mile radius), but wasn't able to go last year to Silverdale (which I also sorta live near). I hope a H!P act goes, but I know it'd be too good to be true.
