I find it funny how it was announced just right after the election results ended.

Everything was set up and ready for Yuko to be center. Something that shows her qualities and energy in the best ways... congratulations Sasshi Now, I don't want this to change and turn out to be a joke on Sasshi and her hetare image, let her do this with a 100% serious approach. Don't really want an Ue Kara Sasshi...

Not sure if this is true but I read that after the first day results Yasusu said on radio that he had already prepared a Sasshi center song.

If he says that ("thousands of new songs ready for release"), then he can manage to release new stages for the teams needing those, but they're always delayed.

 

So, pie in the face for Akimoto on that one.

^^ If Aki-p really has 1000 songs ready my guess is he's waiting for all the graduations to end so he can finally introduce the new stages not just for AKB but all the Japan based 48s. And they won't even have to last a whole year or more b/c he'll be ready for the next round of stages too. Rather than doubting him I want to have faith he's being truthful b/c things at the 48 theaters have gotten really boring without new material.

I might actually buy this one simply because of Sasshi. Not that I'm a big fan, but to commemorate the long awaited change up. Though it depends on the song (and on whether I can get my hands on a copy of Kaotan's single).

Considering the quality of some of the songs we already have, I may not want to hear those other thousands.   But I do want some new songs and stages, or at the very least for Team N to perform something other than Dareka no Tame ni.

 

I'm really excited about the Shuu center song for this single. I hope it's something that can really highlight her and get some attention to Team BII. Will see as always before deciding about picking this up, but I'm definitely leaning towards the possibility for the Future Girls song, and there really is so much interesting stuff for each of these lineups.

 

At the very least, there's no shortage of anticipation to see how a Sasshi center looks other than the suddenly prophetic Bimyo.

Shuu center was great for not only her - a girl who is actually already pushed and popular as a whole - but for Team BII also. When she was talking I was hoping she'd mention Team BII, and when she did, you could see the reactions, Uuka being moved to tears etc. It's great promo.

I guess him forgetting about his new stage songs is somewhat of a testament to his "No schedule book" policy, ironically enough.

 

I'm looking forward to pretty much all the songs for this single, but I'm annoyed by the fact that Watanabe Miyuki, Yokoyama Yui and Yamamoto Sayaka will be at the very back once again (just like all the other recent singles they've participated in). Quite frustrating if I say so myself.

I hope it isn't a comedic song like how Sasshi was joking about on stage but a regular AKB-ish song. The PV can be silly like haste & waste though. Would this be a 15 member senbatsu? Waiting for some kind of announcement from management.

They might handpick a girl to fill in a spot while bringing the rest of the girls on the lower end of the list up higher. Seems like a good idea compared to having a 15 member senbatsu or bringing up all the spots by one place, ruining all the line-ups and their centers.

^^ I'm also hoping it won't be a comical song. I don't see why it would have to be a one just because it's Sasshi.
