Yui is a 100% AKB member through and through. Yes, Kyoto and everything, but no - she belongs in AKB.
 
I disagree that this is a mess. It's something that is overblown due to bias and personal opinions, nothing more. Permanently transfering members across groups and teams would definitely be a mess. But a temporary transfer is like an extended shuffle.

What I meant, Krusha, was that *during the time of the transfer* the girl should just belong to one single team and not two at once. When you have a transfer student somewhere (speaking in "school" terms), certainly this student won't be visiting two schools at once, but just the one he/she has transfered to for the time being. That's how I see it.

Basically like the random transfer stuff we have now two girls just would switch her team memberships for a while. E.g. Ripopo N->A and Yui A->N... once the exchange period is over both girls go back to their original team. Like that.

Sure, I could see that happen. But I gather the powers that be finds it a little too complicated and wants the "both" option available instead of the other.

well ... I think its like a exchange program ..i think they can't convert that into terms in legal sense so they have this double team thing ..
Maybe they could settle it if its a permanent transfer like Sasshi and Lovetan ..
furthermore .. they still have those overseas transfer ... it get really complicated ..
If you think about it the accounting way .. whose payroll, cost and profit is it going to be ? .. i really don't want to be the accountant for them ... LOL

I think they don't state the period is to add to the drama and also maybe the management dunno themselves ..
anyway .. i think we should not see much more of this dramatic reactions ...
I mean by the 10th time ... the idol and fans wouldn't even bother much .. right?

Its like the AKB48 2nd shuffle .. you don't get much reaction from those seniors who been there during the 1st shuffle .. (except for Mayuyu )
only the new stuff like overseas transfer and cross group transfer get them ...

And same thing now from some people, with regards to the new batch of transfer exchanges (either towards girls or teams/groups).

And the funny thing is, when these transferees are announced returning to their original positions, I guess there will be same amount of complaints again, all over

oh .. this is something I don't understand ...
I got a friend who is almost pure SKE48 only fan... when Rie got transferred .. he was in rage ... he didn't like Rie ..
but now .. he is in depression because Rie is leaving ... and the weirdest thing is he actually have a liking for Minarun but now he is not welcoming of her ..
i really got no idea really ... oh well ...

NMB vs. EXILE could be interesting. Normally, NMB does better on Oricon, but EXILE's last single sold 540k on the first day. Never did figure out what caused them to have such a ridiculous sales bump. Could be looking at another weekly #2.

Good to know there's a date finally. Can hopefully expect info to start trickling out in the next week or two!

Yeah sadly it's probably going to be similar to Nagiichi, which sort of sucks because NMB frequently runs into the strongest male groups.

Also I hope EXILE will not have such good sales again like for their last single (wonder what the explanation for this was anyway... the leading guy's graduation from performing?)

I dunno myself ... but I notice a great increase on the big names on the guys side ...

Exile who average around 200K flew pass 500K like nothing .. and Arashi who average around 500K flew pass 750K ..

whatever it is ... there is another fight on our hands .. and this time ..it maybe possible to win  ..

because NMB48 sales has gotten more than before and Exile sales is pretty unstable going up and down .. so we can hope it goes down ..

Exile only sold that much because the CD was included with their Dome Concert Tour Tickets...  crazy boosting tactics indeed...　　sold 540,000 first day, and 25,000 the rest of the week...

 

so don't expect them to sell that much again...  until next year...

Anyway... NMB48 never had 2 editions per type, AFAIK. At least I don't have that in my collection and I claim to own a complete NMB48 single collection.

What I meant was no premium and regular editions, which is what they should be doing this year since they're already strong enough as a group to do it.

Collectors after all don't want to use their collector edition CDs, while they can use the regular edition CDs and DVDs instead.

Doing this would probably boost their sales altogether as well.

But hey, the usual way they've done it means less worry for my wallet I guess, so it's a complicated feeling.

I misunderstood, haha. I thought something had come out where they were going to match the content across all three versions for this single and I was going to be very upset if that happened. But I prefer no limited editions. It's less I have to buy which is a good thing in my book!

Well.. there's the 'first press' status... if you come (far) too late you won't get the trading card. One could consider this Limited vs. Normal edition.

 

I think the way they do it for NMB48 is all right. No need for change, IMHO.
