Time for me to brag a little. Thanks to an anime event in Singapore, I got to see Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and got his autograph. =w=

 

Other than that, I hope SAO will transition into a long running anime instead of seasonal anime 12-24 episodes type because the content to cover is way too vast.

Yeah. Nothing wrong with the manga though since I think it follows quite closely with the novel. 

 

The next arc I tell you, they better do a 50 episode series for it. Else anything less I will not accept.

SAO progressive manga should eventually play that part, as a long running manga that is. but translations are slow? or did interest in the manga die out in japan?haven't been catching up with SAO news.

Nah. I think the long running series should be of the novel's 4th arc. It's as long as the first 3 arc combined and its not even finished yet.

I'm currently watching SAO2. Just finished watching the GGO story arc.
This is going to scare alot of ppl if full-dive becomes a reality
Better lock yourself in a secure room when doing a full-dive

The season 2 of SAO have 3 arcs under. The GGO arc, the Excalibur something arc and the mother Rosario arc. I do believed that the Mother Rosario arc is the last for SAO

Yeah. Its the last arc (in the anime) until the next game. 

 

By the way, in SAO, excalibur is spelled as excaliber. a mistake in the spelling on purpose.

about the arc, I think there's only 1 arc that hasn't been covered, which is Alicization Arc.

I totally forgot the Alicization Arc  (There are too many light novels and side stories)

 

I was actually just only referring to the 2nd season (I think zam is just asking for the 2nd season arcs only, hence my answer) and there is still no news about season 3. 

 

Also, I did type 'excaliber' but my autocorrect function just change it as I was using my phone at that time, so thanks for correcting that post

ARGH. I want my season 3 and yes 50 episodes no less. The sheer amount of content in alicization is just mindblowing. And whats more the novel is not over yet with the arc .Oh god. Its at volume 15-16 already. 

 

Volume 1-8 is SAO-ALO-GGO+sides. 

Volume 9-15+ is Alicization. My god. 

 

SAO X AW is not very interesting though. It was a really forced storyline.

not sure if 50 episode animes are gonna fly well with the tv execs. this isn't the 90s where they do full anime adapations of mangas. naurto being an exception.

Those are super long running ones which I don't think can compare.

 

World trigger is a new anime adaptation of the manga of the same name. Why not SAO having 50 episodes.
