M25~M29のみハイビジョン対応の編集となっております。
他楽曲の画質は普通DVDと同等となります。

It says that only M25 onwards (i.e. from 'Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda!' onwards) are in HD, the rest are the same as the DVD.

Shame, colour me uninterested.

So no better quality, plus no previously unseen version of any pv... the fail is strong with this release.

Genuinely disappointed. I'd buy HD versions of their earlier singles any day of the week.

Since the clips 1 - 24 were made before H!P (probably) had HD recording capabilities, it's only logical that they won't be available in HD.

But for anyone with a Blu Ray player and lots of money, it's a good investment, I'm sure they will have had a well encoded up-scale on the other 24 PVs.

I'd be very surprised if their recording sources are only 480p. I don't think I'm being cynical in thinking that they just don't want to have to produce a new master.#

I'd also be surprised if they upscale them. After all, Blu-Ray is fully compatible with DVD-spec Mpeg2 files, that's what many Blu-Ray extras actually use.

I personally believe that UFA downscaled their PVs to 480p for broadcasts and Single Vs.
That's why they made CGI effects just in 480p instead of 1080p. Thanks to that, it's nearly impossible to do 1080p re-masters, because UFA would need to recreate all the CGI effects.

Considering that even Perfume hasn't release any Blu Rays whatsoever, I think its a more complicated issue
Most PVs are still upscale 480p , particularly the ones shows on tv in Japan.
Only 1080p PVs I seen are indie bands......on youtube.....

I'm pretty sure only AKB entire PV collection is in 1080p.................but that's it.

I think its more likely that UFA does not own the master rights to remaster those old PVs
Or the cost is so prohibitive, it does not warrant a real 1080p release
