I'm gonna send in my application for SKE48 5th gen audition. I love the 48 family!! Is anybody else going to do it?

Awww. Thank you!! I know how people say that forgeiners shouldn't audition for asian companies/groups but i don't listen to them.

The search for the 5th generation members of SKE48 had just gone underway a few days ago on September 5th. The application period will span 26 days, until the 30th of this month. Females ages 11-22, with or without prior experience, are encouraged to participate. Those who pass the audition will join the current 9 research students in performing A1 periodically and serving as the full-fledged members' unders.

Those interested in auditioning for SKE48 can access the application via:
1) A downloadable form on SKE48's official website; the link can be found at the bottom of this page:
3) A form attached to one of SKE48's magazines. (Unsure of which)
3) Pick-up from Shop48 on the 5th floor of Nagoya's Sunshine Sakae building, where the group's theater is based.

SKE48's 4th generation audition had 5,888 girls apply, with 368 selected for the auditions, and only 16 making the final cut. SKE48's growing popularity will definitely spur more to apply this time around; it has certainly helped boost the group's sales figure.

Aw! Dang it! Unforunatley i can't do the 5th gen auditions becasue my mail won't get there in time. Oh well! but AKB48 are having 13th gen auditions soon. I'm definitely going to do that no matter wha!

I don:t usually follow AKB or the sister groups, but I have a friend who wanted to know around how many people they tend to accept or tend to let in after the first stage - she got accepted past the first stage but her mother is very upset and thinks she won:t make it passed the next rounds and doesn:t want to let her go since it also costs a lot of money. Unfortunately for her I also think it:s a bit pricey, but she wanted me to ask with my acc here what the ppl here think of her chances and such lol - she really wants to try hard, but with the odds pointing against her, I think she just would like to hear various opinions on if she should continue or not :3

If it's her dream she should continue and work hard. Simply as that. But if her heart isn't in it then, of course, it's better to not waste time and money.

Stupid question: why is it pricy/ cost so much money? Is she from outside Nagoya and has to drive long distances or stay in hotels or something?

^Yeah, she:s currently staying in Hokkaido, so it:s quite far - she decided not to audition since it was against her mother:s wishes, but hopefully when she:s an adult she can audition again lol
