So Yamapi is today at #1 with 10.662, while French Kiss is at #2 with 4.429. The sudden spike in sales may come from this:

"On Sat Jan 22, JE announced via fan club e-mail that there will be a handshake event (1/23 Sunday) at Sunshine City World Import Mart Building starting from 9AM until 1PM.

You must buy a copy of the new CD for a ticket to this event. The CD sale starts at 8AM. The cost of the CD is 525 yen".

Overall, I was not really impressed by "If", apart from the girls looking gorgeous, of course. Maybe Avex itself makes everything so... how should I say it, "ordinary"?

Not really news, because the rumour has been going for around a week or two, but I found scary to see my name so many times in this page...

Shinohara Kenta’s manga “SKET DANCE” has an anime adaptation coming up this spring, and the artists for its theme songs were revealed on Monday. AKB48 sub-unit French Kiss will be handling the show’s opening theme, while rock band the pillows is in charge of the ending.

“SKET DANCE,” which is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, is a shonen manga about a three-member high school club known as the “Campus Support Group” that deal with random problems that come up around campus.

Both French Kiss and the pillows were natural choices for the show’s theme songs. Starting with the third episode, French Kiss member Kashiwagi Yuki is voice acting as Rumi, the sister of the lead character Bossun. The main characters also form a band called The Sketchbook that does a performance of the pillows’ well-known song “Funny Bunny.”

The titles of the theme songs have not yet been announced. More details will be revealed before the anime premieres on April 7 on TV Tokyo.

According to CdJapan, the third single from French Kiss comes in 6 (!!!) editions

^Well, it's not really 6 since it's 3 limited and then the same 3 but regular edition Type A is CD+DVD and Type B too, while Type C is CD only, just like it's always been with FureKisu.

The novelty here is that they are releasing a Theater edition too.

Well, the most visually obvious reason is the following: Different covers.

But then there's that other little thing, that of French Kiss having the following bonus items for these singles:

2. Handshakes, and last but not least:
3. Polaroid 2-shot.

If I was in Japan right now, I'd buy whatever necessary to get #3 fulfilled.

That Kakkowarui PV is definitely full of win!!! Yay for no drama scenes (and extras) in the way!!

I could see that the members are really improving. Akicha now sounds A LOT better (I'm kinda surprised at first, but it made me really glad as well, since she's currently my oshmen ), while Yukirin's dance move is much better now, even for this kind of upbeat song. As for Mocchi, I really want to see her with a different hairstyle...

About the Kimi nara Daijoubu PV, it reminds me of Ikimonogakari's 'YELL' PV. But this PV seems a little bit... plain, I think. The song's really heartwarming, though
