Most likely they came for the AKB torrents.

Who else watches unsubbed AKB shukan and Majisuka Graduan and all those other AKB shows in the hundreds sometimes thousands?

that is akimoto sayaka
please do not feel threatened!
Unless you dislike her or AKB48 and then you should be slightly worried.
I'm slightly on the akb obsessive side...slightly worrying also. Very worrying actually. DONT EVER SAY ANYTHING AGAINST AKB OR SAYAKA OR YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAHAHAHAA
PEACE OUT

Well, unless the statistics are wrong, why would Japanese peolpe come to H!O?
They can't post as this forum is English only.
And the very small amount that post, cant really write ENglish well.

Logically speaking, its gotta be the AKB or H!P torrents they are here for, right?

Maybe someone can put up a list of all torrents that has been downloaded by country cumulatively, if its possible.

oh yeah someone I know was seeding a few LODs and they said most of the downloaders were in japan.
But that doesn't mean us outside japan people don't watch it which is what your first post implied.

About the search engines ...

don't know if people has the same habit as me ...

but when I am at work ... I cannot favorite the site and I am too lazy to type the domain name out and I don't want to leave behind the history on the address bar ... so I usually use the yahoo search engine and search for "hello online" ...lol

so up front you will leave no trail ...lol

so if many people has the same ideas as me .. that may explain the noticeable search engine result .. :P

They can't post as this forum is English only.

99.9% of the Japanese people who come on H!O come for the tracker only as its the most accessible and easiest to use source World Wide for H!P related downloads with no real competition around, no idea how its on the AKB side of things with competing sites, but if you look at the peers there are tons of japanese people for the AKB torrents as well.

Do I see, that Mexico overtook Japan? US barely got here, weird. Maybe their government needs launching a program for popularizing H!O :))
On my side, Europe is poorly represented here.

Country Rank

Singapore 1,532

Mexico 2,603

Looks like H!O got to be mainstream site here!

I'm not sure why people are questioning the visitation of the japanese. Their companies can be pretty strict about YouTube appearances (and other such sites). After I got annoyed with those always getting taken down, I looked for something else and this seemed like the best place. Probably they came to the same conclusion.

I'm surprised there are so many views from Japan but apart from that the statistics of H!O matches the popularity of the site. I don't know any other Hello!Project fansite as popular as this one (an international one to be honest).
