My sister said she would go with me so I think I'll probably come to Sakuracon if any of you are still going

Would you be interested in doing an idol panel at sakuracon? MaggieMehve and I are trying to do one and we need more people.

What's an idol panel?

Sorry I've never been to an anime convention before so I don't know ...

^ a panel is basically a presentation about whatever subject you want. It can be interactive if you want, you can show videos, play games, etc. I don't want to scare you with the word "presentation" because its nothing professional or anything like that. (A couple friends of mine hosted a Naruto panel and they were drunk, it was pretty hilarious) it's supposed to be fun but informative. And we would be doing a panel on Japanese Idols. Nothing fancy, we just want to get more fans.

I don't think they let you drink alcohol at the convention... and there's security and staff in place to watch for troublemakers.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAO!!!!!! I scared my husband because I was screaming and he thought something was wrong. He comes in the room in a panic and I tell him the great news! He's excited too and he's not even really a fan!

Hahaha well I'd better get going on working on the panel then!!!

Edit: I've just submitted our panel request a few minutes ago. Just gotta wait for the OK.

I keep hearing that they are more male fans than they are female fans but everywhere I turn HE turns out to be a SHE

^Haha it's ok. Actually, on H!O sometimes I assume everyone on here is a female in their mid 20's (like me) and I think that's pretty normal on the internet, everyone thinks all users tare like themselves.

Yeah! I really hope the panel is a success, if I wasn't nervous about it before, I am now!

I think I can go to this year since it's Berryz, and who doesn't want to see Berryz?
(but that means i would probably have to pay myself and convince my mom or dad to come with me)

Yo Cakes! I'm definitely going to SakuraCon (Was planning to go with my fellow otaku friend). But In a bit of a dilemma.

1. 13-17 year olds need a specified guardian inside the convention center at all times (Guardian must be over 18 years of age). And I'm pretty sure no one will want to be around with me for even an hour.
2. My fellow otaku isn't a Berryz fan. ;A;

So either I'm going to have to beg my mom to go and I'll have to act "normal" or beg her to let me go with someone from H!O that would be willing to be my "guardian" for the couple of days.

With the second choice I'd need someone from here. Anyone willing? *COUGHFAKEBECAUSESHEWASWILLINGAFEWMONTHSAGOCOUGH*
