My family is by no means financially stable at the moment, but this year they didn't want to make any changes when it came to Christmas presents so they had been saving up so they could get my sister and I pretty much everything on our lists. I was touched that they did that.

most of the stuff I bought for myself for Christmas since nobody really knew what I want..however, one BIG present stood out

It was an autographed book by my favorite author Stephen King..I'm still in shock over it.

Got me some extra money for Christmas, so I bought myself a lot of SNSD cds(the few that I don't have), good thing I preordered Rika's new PB a month ealrier

Also went ahead and preordered Momusu's new single and presoredered Final Fantasy XIII as well. Other than that, been a pretty good Christmas.

I wasn't able to buy things for my friends because I have to save for Buono!'s concert. And I won't have any present from my family because my grandparents and godfather are helping me to pay the train tickets to go to Paris for Buono!'s concert lol !

ah, bringing this thread back again? as much as i would LIKE to look forward to christmas, i'm not. there's been quite a shake-up in my family as of late, so the holidays just don't hold the warm, fuzzy feelings for me this year as they have in the past.

This year I'll actually get something for Christmas, although I'll have to pay for it myself, but hey, its better than nothing, Berryz & C-ute Tour final just so happens to be on the 25th dec, so this year there is a point to Christmas

I don't know what I'll get this year for Christmas... because usually, I'm at home for Christmas, but because my boyfriend's and my family live about 3 hours away from each other and we still wanted to be together on Christmas, we decided to stay at his place (this year... next year will be my place). So it's the first time not being at home with my family on Christmas day. Gonna go back to them on 26th though.
I've never gave a present to my parents/family because they found that stupid. They said that I can give them presents when I earn money myself (I'm still a student), but like this it doesn't make sense because it actually is their money I'm buying presents with, and they'd rather I spend it for other things.
So, this year, because I'm not at home for Christmas, I decided to do something for my parents. They like to decorate the house, so I want to do some Christmas baubles myself. It's pretty easy and I'm gonna try and it's something self-made which they cannot complain about because of the money.

maybe I'm gonna get the ticket for Buono... my father has payed it (because he has the credit card) and I am to give him back the money next time we meet, but as I know him, it is very well possible that he says I should keep the money as a Christmas present. Would be nice. but we'll see.

I know nothing about what I'm getting for christmas, feeling a little jealous of the ppl getting jpop stuff.
But my sister who lives around 435 miles away is coming down for christmas, and that is more worth to me than any gift 'cus I havn't seen her for months now and she's the person I'm the closest to.

So far I've bought some Hello Kitty stuff and a Lady Gaga book for my friends, but as for me getting presents...other than a Christmas card, I haven't really gotten anything yet. I'm hoping to get a new cell phone though, since I lost my old one a week ago. Other than that, I won't ask for too much this year.
