Yeah. Many of us have implemented chapter indexes in our threads. But a complete directory of all fics. That sounds like quite a challenge. One worth looking into, however.

I have a question. How pervy can be a story posted here? Like, can I post smut or hardcore? Do I use spoilers or do not post that story at all?

I also have a question, what do you guys think of changing POVs?

If you include them, do you just let the story flow itself so readers know who is talking or do you write a small sub-heading stating _____'s POV?

In my opinion, when I write multiple pov's I lose track to who and what the plot is about. But what I think is that two or three should be the max for some max because usually the side characters have no meaning to a story

It doesn't look right to me, but then you get those readers who tend to get confused all the time.

^ In one chapter more POVs are like repeating the same story but with different views....

 

I mean:

 

A's POV: Joe went to wok.

B's POV: He wakes up really hard. He's not good at doing that. But finally he puts a T-shirt on and prepares to go to this job, which is at a great company.

Joe's POV: Oh. Life's so bad. I cannot believe that I still have to go to jail everyday.... Nights are better. Today, I just cannot wake up. My dreams are taking me away. It's so hard. But I rise my head. The sunshine looks horrible now. But what can I do? I just have to got there and stand in front of my computer. At least I can play Solitaire.

 

In a novel, it's a great idea to put more characters' POVs, but it one chapter is just annoys you.

 

btw... Chilean-American author Isabel Allende is good at multiple POVs in a novel.

Usually from some fanfiction that I've read, the author rolls from one perspective to another and the from that view, it had nothing to do with the story. That's what I meant, but I couldn't find the words at the time

@sniper: I think it depends on the person who writing the story.
