Seems that this is an error for many people, the page 1 only too as well.
Dunno if it helps, but I'm in South America and the picboard has always worked perfectly for me.

Only some South African IPs.  Good news, though.  Now bulgaria and sri lanka and isle of man and latvia don't work when they did a few days ago.

 

Tor Browser might work for you.  It does for me.

Hi all, 

 

For about 5+ months or so there's been some serious problems with the picboard, as most here are probably aware of. In short some users are unable to go past page 1, and are met with an error message. 

 

Due to this, management have contacted haku, our site-manager, numerous times (since this problem was first discovered, til now), informing him in detail of the problem and how it is. However a number of these emails have not been responded to, and as such it's difficult to keep proper communication due to his absence. The times he did respond, he said he would take a look at the problem once his vacation was over, and see what he could do. This was a long time ago though.

 

This affects all of us and it's a pity that it's like this, but there's nothing the rest of the management here can do about this issue, except having contacted haku and informed him of the problems H!O has.

So we really do apologize to all of you that nothing is happening, but it's beyond our control. 

 

With regards to the picboard issue, the problem is as follows: 

 

Any user with IPv6 addresses will encounter this problem. IPv4 addresses are much more common online, so for whatever reason, the picboard struggles with tolerating IPv6. In order to bypass this problem, one should use an IPv4 proxy - whichever suits you the best - to get access to the rest of the picboard. It's that easy...

 

Hopefully this will help. For now anyways.

I have forgotten about this problem.
Didn't know it has not been resolved.

Krusha's post above pointed the problem relating to IPv6 so I did some research.
I am not sure how the IPv6 issue is effecting the picboard problem but I found something on Microsoft's support site.

IPv6 was officially enforced on June 6th 2012 and Microsoft discovered users facing problems connecting to some sites.
( Btw, Microsoft doesn't have control over IPv6. )
Maybe it is similar to our picboard problems.

Maybe you sould try this first before using the Microsoft fix.

Basically they advice people with problems to disable the IPv6 option in your Internet/Network Connection properties on your PC.

For me, I have not experience any problems with the picboard. I checked my Network Connection properties and saw that IPv6 was already disabled.

So you can try the fixes but I do not gurantee if it works or not, because I never had to use them before.
If you try it, tell us if it works or not for you PC.

Thank you zam(仮), that (the automatic Windows fix) seems to have fixed it (for now).

Much simpler than using a proxy.

 

As for IPv4 versus IPv6: you still want to get that fixed in the future as the people with IPv6 adresses will only increase.

The address space for IPv4 is essentially exhausted.

^That is good to hear that it works.
I think the problem is not on the website end but on the hosts providers and organizations that maintain domain servers.
They need to upgrade their hardware and software to support IPv6 properly.

As a web application developer, I do not do anything specific in my coding to handle IP issues. IPs are normally in the realm of network administrators.

Are you freaking kidding me? The Picboard finally worked again a few days ago and now all of a sudden I get the error code again! I freaking hate this, as it disables me from saving most pictures that are uploaded through the entire day

Ask yourself this question: Have you changed from IPv4 to an IPv6 IP in those days? If you have, there's your answer. If not, I cannot say why it's like this. 

 

At any rate we've contacted haku about this multiple times for well over half a year now if not 8 months+ or whatever it is now. There's no reply, and so all we can recommend is what's said before: Use a proxy or the Windows fix above.

So, I was rather surprised while at work, that I went into the picboard and it worked for me! Just like that. I assume it's because I'm on a work server that it's working. Still at home, nothing, even after the window fix, but the proxy works. So if it doesn't work for you, find a proxy site. I used https://hide.me/en/proxy, it was the first one I googled. Worked like a charm.

An interesting problem I have with picboard is that when I am at home picboard doesn't work all.

I can only browse the first page and play with the search toolbar to access some recent picture

 

But when I visit my dad place with the same computer that's works perfectly. My City and my dad city are only seperate from 62,9 km.

 

I tried the Ipv thing and that's work hope my little story can help fix the general issue though ?

Because I get this problem, it's been several weeks that I have this problem.

 

There appears to be an error with the database.

There seems to be problems loading some of the recently uploaded pics on Picboard. Some doesn't load completely no matter how I refresh, clear my cache and use other browser.
