now for this next oneshot, i'll just say 1 thing....GUYCHAN

Dream

‘She’s so cute…’

Daisuke smiled to himself as he watched the girl of his dreams sleep next to him. Her dark brown hair flowed over his pillow in a slightly messy manner as the honey brown eyes that were usually bright and intense were hidden over eyelids along with eyelashes that were uncovered by makeup. Her cute button nose flared every few minutes along with her cheeks that puffed out whenever she was angry at him. Lastly those lips…he was always drawn to them when she talked, sang, or even now when not a sound came out; they were just perfect. Everything about Risa was perfectly cute.

It was a normal routine for the two of them to end up like this, well more him than Risa, but he didn’t mind one bit. The way it usually went was the bean knocking at his door way past 12 am with a cheerful yet tired grin on her face saying that she had missed the last train back to Yokohama and that she didn’t have enough money on her to take a taxi back home. Already deciding herself that she was staying over the older boys place for the night, the two had decided on watching a movie. After 30 minutes into the film though, the younger girl had fallen fast asleep next to him with her head resting on his shoulder.

Being the gentleman that he was, Daisuke carefully carried the sleeping girl into his room and laid her on the bed. After a few minutes of trying to get some sleep himself, but not being able to, he decided to just sit up and watch the sleeping girl next to him. It was rare for Daisuke to have alone time with Risa and when it did happen; it usually ended up just like this with her on his bed completely knocked out to the world. He knew that it wasn’t her fault though. Being in an idol group was way more tiring than it seemed and he was a witness to it all.

He cautiously scooted closer to the still sleeping girl and brought up his free arm to wrap around her waist. He hesitated for a moment, but eventually gave in to the thought of the simple touch and was rewarded with Risa snuggling closer to his chest. The monkey lightly stiffened at the sudden contact for a brief second as he felt his face heat up. Eventually he relaxed again and closed his eyes as he remembered the first time the two of them had met.

---------------

A young Risa tightly held onto her mother’s hand as the two entered the loud classroom. Some children looked at the door for a brief moment while others lingered on longer or just didn’t look up at all. She looked back at what were to be her new classmates as her mother and new teacher talked briefly. It was then that she locked eyes with one little boy who was staring back at her with curiosity. As soon as their eyes met, Risa instantly looked away, but she could still feel his gaze on her.

“Everyone, this is Risa-chan! She’ll be with us for the rest of the school year so Sensei wants all of you to treat her nicely ok?”

“Hai~!”

When it came to recess all of the other children went out to go play while the little bean stayed behind in the classroom deciding to just sit and color. She felt that it would be better to just keep to herself since all of the other children were clearly close friends and she was way too shy to even ask if she could play along. It wasn’t easy for her to make new friends.

“Nee Risa-chan, why are you in here by yourself? Don’t you wanna play?”

The little girl looked up to see the same boy that was watching her earlier when she came into the room. She furiously shook her head and went back to coloring when the boy spoke up again.

“Why not?”

“Cus…no one will probably want to play with Risa…”

“I’ll play with you!”

She looked up from her picture in slight shock at what the boy had said.

“Really?”

He nodded his head, quickly grabbed a paper of his own and sat next to her. Giving her a big grin he introduced himself.

“My name’s Daisuke and I’ll make sure to play with you everyday so you won’t be by yourself!”

Risa gave him a small smile and nodded as the two began coloring together.

-----------------------

Ever since that day the two of them were pretty much inseparable and before they knew it Risa’s shyness had totally disappeared. If the two weren’t playing on the playground together they were inside coloring. It was one of those coloring days that Daisuke’s feelings for the girl started to grow even though he didn’t know it at the time.

“Are you drawing a singer Risa-chan?”

The little bean nodded her head as she intently drew herself in a frilly dress with ribbons as she held a microphone.

“Risa wants to be a singer when she grows up! What about Ai-chan?”

“Ai-chan” was the nickname that the younger girl had given him due to the fact that “Dai-kun” was already taken by the rest of his classmates. She also wanted to give him a nickname that only she could use. Daisuke looked up to the ceiling for a moment in thought but shrugged his shoulders when he couldn’t think of what he wanted to be.

“I don’t know I want to do a lot of things…”

“Well when Ai-chan decides on what he wants to do we’ll get married and be together forever no matter what!”

“Eh?? Marry?”

“Un…why? Does Ai-chan not want to be best friends forever?”

“Of course I do!”

“So it’s settled then! When we grow up we’ll marry each other!”

The two promised on a pinky swear and continued on coloring until the recess bell was over.

----------------------------

Still not feeling tired, but keeping his eyes closed, Daisuke thought to himself.

‘I wonder if she even remembers that promise we made? Probably not, we were pretty young after all.’

She never did forget her dream though, and with enough hard work it finally came true. He had remembered how nervous she was on her audition day all the way to when it was the day whether or not she’d find out if she made the group or not. Daisuke was there with her every step of the way, even if he still wasn’t sure what his dream job was. The only part of his overall dream was to have the girl next to him in them no matter what, but that was currently going to be nearly impossible with the beans current job. With her coming over to his place so often, He wondered why she’d risk it all so much.

“What are you thinking about…?”

Daisuke looked down to meet Risa’s still sleepy expression as she covered her mouth let out a yawn. He gave her a soft smile and shook his head. Worrying about his problems was the last thing he wanted Risa to have on her mind. Feeling more alert and knowing she couldn’t force a real answer out of the older boy, Risa sighed and down at the patterns on Daisuke’s shirt.

“You know you can tell me Ai-chan…”

“I already told you it’s nothing...I’m just thinking about when we were in elementary school.”
She knew he was somewhat lying. The tone in his voice gave it away instantly. There was more on the young man’s mind than just that. She looked back up at him and noticed that he was looking at her with a questioning look in his eyes.

“Why…?”

“Why what?”

“Why are you risking your job for this Risa?”

The bean took her eyes away from him and sighed. Whenever they were together this topic always had to come up. She wished that they didn’t have to talk about it, but this was the reality she had to deal with. In her world, Risa would have her idol career and would openly go out with Daisuke instead of crashing at his place so late at night, or having to disguise herself when they do decide to hang out on a date. When she was with him she could show him everything, and he’d still accept her either way. Daisuke would love her no matter what, but she also knew that if she lost her job because of him, he’d never forgive himself for something that would be her mistake.

“It’s because, I love you Daisuke…No matter what happens I want to be with you… Even if that means ending my idol dream, at the end of the day you’ll still be there…right?”

Hearing his full name softly flow out of the younger girl’s lips made Daisuke’s face flood with a light shade of pink. He already knew that that would be her answer, It was the same one every time when he asked her this. It was just that this time, hearing his full name and the gentle way she said it made him fall in love with her all over again. His grip on the younger’s waist tightened as her pulled her closer, causing Risa to look up at him, still waiting for a reply. He saw the question reflected in those eyes that he loved so much. Daisuke answered her back, just as softly as she asked him, slightly afraid to break the sudden mood.

“Of course I will…”

She smiled, her expression changing from slight worry to relief. The bean moved herself up to bring her face close the older boy, and leaned in to him a brief soft kiss. Her smile grew bigger as their lips parted, causing Daisuke to give a matching grin back. Closing her eyes and bringing her forehead to gently touch his, Risa softly mumbled something else.

“I’m still keeping my promise you know….we will get married one day…”

“Un… I know…I’ll patiently wait for that day...”

They didn’t know when, and they both certainly didn’t know how that dream was going to get done, but when the time came, both knew that they would be ready for it. It was both their dream after all. Noticing that the bean fell back asleep, Daisuke smiled to himself and gave her nose a small kiss, watching her sleep again until he fell asleep himself.

‘She’s so cute....’

ok so im sure you guys remember a little oneshot i wrote last yr that somehow made you all emotional for some reason that i still cant comprehend. well i decided to make a part 2 of it based off of another AKB song titled "sakura no ki narou". so let the namida's cometh!

Eternal Cherry Tree

The days feel endless when you really have nothing to do in this world. Granted, I had no choice but to do nothing…I couldn’t go home, I couldn’t talk to anyone, just nothing. I was stuck here. I never thought that I would end up like this. Looking up to the spring-colored sky, I sighed. Who would’ve thought that things ended up like this? I sat down on one of the low branches of a cherry tree and mumbled to myself.

“I wonder if she’s coming today?”

I looked down at my clock and frowned.

“Ah…I forgot…it doesn’t work anymore…”

The hands were frozen on a time that I never really wanted to remember. It was stuck on the time that I died. Maybe died isn’t the best word. It wasn’t like the way it happened was an accident or anything. I pretty much killed myself. I was tired of all of the pain and bullying that I had gone through when I was alive and thought that the best option was to just kill myself. Looking back on it now, I somewhat regret doing it. It was a stupid mistake on my part. At that very moment, I never truly realized how much pain I had caused my friends and family, so here I am now, paying the price of it all. I tapped on the watch, hopping that maybe that would cause it to start working but of course nothing happened. I sighed as I rested my hand back down on the branch and swung my legs.

“I wanted to fly away, but look at me… I’m stuck here, being in the last place I wanted to be..”

I closed my eyes for a moment and took in the sounds of birds chattering around me. If there was anything that still kept me calm and happy it was them. But, I still could never get that tiny feeling of unhappiness out of me. I guess one could say I still haven’t found peace yet. Opening my eyes I sighed again and watched a nearby bird.

“Nee, birdy do you think Ai-chan’ll come today?”

The bird looked my way and gave a chirp. I smiled and continued on.

“I don’t know myself either…”

I looked down and started playing with the skirt hem of my school uniform. It’d be great to see her again, see how much she changed from the last time we met.

“Mou~ I don’t know what to do~! What do you think bird-chan?”

When I looked back to where the bird was, it chirped again and flew down to land on a branch right next to me.

“You’ve got it easy, do you know that?”

My new feathered friend tilted its head and gave me a questioning chirp, clearly not understanding what I had even said. I gave it a smile and looked over to the building across from us. It was my school building. It felt ironic that the one place I could roam around freely was the school, the one place I never wanted to see again. It gave me so many painful memories when I was alive…but it also gave me nice ones. If I never met Ai-chan here, I think I might’ve ended it all ages ago…God why was I so stupid? Oh well it was too late to ask that now. What’s done is done. Hopping off the branch and landing easily on the warm grass, I sat down and rested my back onto the tree’s thick trunk. All I could do now was watch life pass me by as I remembered my own.

----------------------------------

The first time you came to this tree, I was depressed. No one ever came around to where I had killed myself. It felt so lonely to not have anyone there, so I just sat on the ground, with my arms hugging my legs and my head resting on my knees. All I could do was cry. It was the first time I realized just how trapped and alone I truly was now.

“Ai-chan, are you sure you’re ready to do this?”

My ears perked at hearing your name and I instantly brought my head up to see you, and Sayumin standing just a few feet away from me. You nodded your head as you clutched onto a small bunch of flowers in your hands. You looked so nervous, but I had no idea why. I carefully watched you as you took a few steps towards me and looked down at me as if you could really see me. You bit your lip and closed your eyes tightly as if you were fighting back tears, and I instantly stood up quickly forgetting that you couldn’t see or hear me as I called your name.

“Ai-chan…don’t cry…please…”

You took a deep breath, slowly exhaled and opened your eyes. They were still watery, but you had them under control now. Putting the flowers down next to me, you quickly covered your eyes and ran back to Sayu hugging her tightly. She wrapped her arms around you and rubbed your back and patted your head, as she whispered something in your ear. Watching all of this happen before me, I slowly sat back down onto the ground as my own tears started to fall down my face
again.

‘She can’t even come here without crying…I’m so stupid…. I hurt her so much….’

I thought you’d never come back after that but you did a few weeks later, but this time without Sayu. All I could do was look your feet. I was too scared of what was going to happen next. You took a deep breath and took a few steps closer as a gust of wind blew past us causing your skirt to flutter for a few seconds.

When you got close enough you stopped and sighed. By now I was looking up at your face. I noticed the sadness was still there in your eyes. The pain I caused you still stung. I bit my lip hard, trying to fight the tears that were coming out when you said something.

“You’re so stupid…you know that…? Why couldn’t you just hold on a bit longer? Why didn’t I notice sooner?”

“It’s not your fault Ai-chan…”

Shaking your head you looked up to the tree. I looked with you as a bird flew down and rested itself on the lowest branch closest to us. You gave it a soft smile as it chirped a few notes, but as soon as it was done and flew away, I noticed you clutches onto something on your neck. That something was the necklace I had given you not long after we met. Your fingers played with the small bird charm as you found the strength to continue talking to me.

“Everyone misses you, do you know that Risa-chan…? They still can’t believe you’re really gone…even Ouji misses you…I…I don’t know what to do with myself now that you’re not here…I’m trying my best to keep the happy memories with me, but how can I stay happy when you’re not here to enjoy it with me Risa?”

You quickly covered your face and knelt down to the ground. All I could here was your muffled cries as another gust flew by us.

“What should I do Risa? I don’t know, I just don’t…”

I had no idea what to say really. I mean no matter what I said couldn’t really reach you could it? All I know I just wanted you to be happy, even if I wasn’t there anymore. I just wanted to see your honest smile again. I brought myself closer to you and tried my best to give a bright smile. I know you couldn’t see it, but maybe, just maybe you could feel it.

“Be happy…I know you can do it….It might be hard, but you’re strong Ai-chan…”

Slowly bringing your hands away from your face, you gave a soft giggle. I waited patiently as you opened your mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

Your eyes looked up to the leaves of the tree.

“You’re probably trying to mother me right now aren’t you? You wouldn’t like me crying over you like this…but it can’t be helped you know…But… I’ll try to be happy…

Not for just myself, but for you too ok…?”

“Alright…”

---------------------------------

After that day she came to visit me and the tree every few days. She fed the birds that passed by and chatted to them and to me about various things. She talked about the good bad events in her life. When she was happy, she’d chat endlessly, if she was sad, it’d be an angry rant or frustrated tears. Eventhough I was never truly there with her physically, it was like she wanted me to be involved. I guess it was just her own special way with coping, and to be honest it made me happy that she never truly forgot about me.

When it was time for her to leave though, Ai would look back anxiously at me, as if she wanted to say something, but all she could do was force a smile and quickly wipe away a tear on her cheek that escaped from her eyes. It made me realize that now instead of watching her next to me like I used to, I’m now watching her from behind. It was on one of those days that since I couldn’t really become a bird, I’ll become this beautiful cherry tree. I’d make myself eternal so that whenever Ai-chan felt lost, she could come to me if she ever felt lost. I’d try my best to show her my love.

---------------------------------------

“I think I know what I’m gonna do for college…How about you Eri?”

“Eh~ I don’t know yet… I might not even go to college…”

“Really? Eri, you know we only have a few months left before school’s over for good, you have to choose something!”

“Well what if she doesn’t want to? I know that if I don’t make it into that entertainment school soon I might have to start looking for a job myself…schools to bothersome anyway…”

Sayu gave a sigh to both Eri and Reina as the three of them along with Ai-chan happily ate lunch under the cherry tree. I watched them carefully as they all talked about their plans for the future. Some were of course silly and out of this world but the others were pretty realistic. Sayumin was planning to be either a math teacher or a kindergarten teacher, she wasn’t exactly sure yet. Tanakacchi was patiently waiting for her acceptance letter from the entertainment school she went to after school for more training to be a singer while Kame wasn’t entirely sure at all yet. I probably would’ve been in the same boat as her though. And lastly there was Ai-chan. She was good at almost anything and everything, but she had told me that she was probably going to fashion school.

Watching them all eagerly talk about what was ahead of them made me realize that everyone was growing up. They were all starting their own paths. It made me kind of uneasy, knowing that they were soon going to leave this school and well me behind, especially Ai-chan. Who would feed the birds once she’s gone? Who would look after her? All of those thoughts came through my mind.

‘I’ll be all alone…’

I looked down to Ai, who was happily feeding the birds not too far away from the others. She looked up to the branch where I was sitting in and for a brief moment I almost felt that she was looking right at me. Her eyes never broke from me until Reina had called her over to finish her lunch before the bell rang. She quickly gasped and ran over to the trio who just laughed at her reaction. Those little glances were becoming more recent lately, and it made me wonder if she could really see me, but how could that be?

-------------------------------------------

“So…this is it isn’t it?”

“Un…We’ll still keep in touch…right?”

“Of course! We’ve been though too much to never see each other again!”

“Yeah…”

I watched the four of them from the lower branches. They wipe their tears as they clutched onto their graduation certificates. I was kind of dreading this day and was excited for it at the same time. Of course I was happy for them; it was human nature to be happy for your friends to be graduating. You could see how they grew from 3 years ago, even though I was still stuck in the second year. The four of them looked up at the tree as a few cherry petals fell. I could tell they were all thinking about something but I just wasn’t sure what.

“I wish Gaki-san could be here with us…”

Eri, Reina and Ai softly hummed in agreement as they looked down to the grass. I gave a bitter smile and sighed. If only they knew that I was right here with them. I looked up to the higher branches to fight back a few tears. Even if they couldn’t see me, I didn’t want to cry when they were around. This was my fate after all.

“Nee…let’s make this our landmark…of the start to a new life.”

We all looked over at Ai who was now looking up at the tree, admiring the birds and petals.

“Risa-chan wouldn’t like us to be sad over her you know…She’d probably scold us for it, knowing her, so let’s make this a positive thing…and make this the start of a new beginning…”

All I could do was look at her in shock as the others smiled and nodded at her in agreement. Even if I was gone she’d still try and find some way to involve me? But why? I didn’t deserve it. Before I knew it I started crying. It was the first time in a long time that I started to cry like this but I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I didn’t deserve her kindness, I didn’t deserve any of these girls care after what I put them through, but here they were, promising that they’ll try their best to live positively, partially for me. I just couldn’t grasp it.

When I had finally finished letting those emotions out of me, I noticed that the sun was setting, but that Ai-chan was now by herself. I wiped my tears and jumped down the tree, wondering why she hadn’t left yet.

“You’ll welcome me with open arms when I come back right…?”

I blinked in confusion at the sudden comment. What did she mean by that? She planned to come back here? She scratched the back of her head in slight embarrassment and laughed awkwardly.

“I don’t want you to be lonely you know…So I’ll come back here when I can, just for you…”

“You’d do that for me…?”

She nodded and brought her hand to the tree’s trunk. The moment her finger’s touched the rough bark, I felt something within me. It was like I could almost feel her touch on me, but before I could fully understand that gentle touch; she slowly moved her hand away and brought it back to her side. Ai gave a bittersweet smile and looked up to the branches one more time as she whispered.

“I’ll see you soon alright? Don’t cry while I’m gone…I’ll be back before you know it.”

As she turned and slowly started to walk to the school gate, She took one last glance back me and softly whispered and “I love you” to me. I smiled and gave her a small wave. When I couldn’t see her anymore I sighed and hopped back onto the branch I was previously sitting on. One of the birds flew by and rested itself right next to me.

“I guess it’ll be just you and me for a while nee birdy?”

It chirped at me and flapped its wings a little as I let out another sigh and watched the sunset.

“Sometimes come back by yourself to this deserted school yard so I can meet you again alright? I want to see that wonderful you from graduation again real soon….I’ll wait for you here with open arms…”

-----------------------------------------

“Everyone’s forgetting…aren’t they birdy?”

I leaned back onto the tree’s trunk as we watched another sunset together. It had been a few years since the last time Ai-chan and the others had come to visit me, and I was getting a bit anxious. They kept their promise in the beginning, and together they all came once a year to catch up on things as well as to reminisce about high school life, but as the seasons changed, one wouldn’t be there due to work or family. Eventually Ai-chan was the only one who came. She would come a few times a year, my birthday, her birthday, the anniversary we started going out, as well as the day I died.

“Ah!”

Looking down at the sudden commotion, I noticed Ai-chan resting her hands on her knees as she took a few deep breaths. She wasn’t in her uniform anymore, but in a fashionable outfit. Her long hair was not cut and dyed in a light shade of brown. Once she got enough breath back in her system she stood up fully and gave me a huge smile.

“Sorry I’m so late…work was hectic as usual…”

She reached in her bag and took out some bird feed, causing all of the birds to flutter down and happily start eating. I smiled at her as she started talking about how things were since the last time she came by. As soon as the feed was done she sat down on the grass and rested her back on the trunk. I hopped down from my branch and sat next her. She didn’t say much, she didn’t really need to. Just being there was enough for me.

‘Please, try to remember me for as long as you can…if not me, this one tree…cus I’ll stand here forever, and whenever you feel lost, just come back and I’ll try my best to show you my love.’

If I couldn’t be a bird I’ll be an eternal cherry tree…

ok so this next one is mothersday themed and what's mothers day without a gakimama fic~? XD i got this idea after watching a local supermarket cm this week, and i just decided to write this last min...like literally i finished this a few min ago ^^; so enjoy~!

Gakimama

“Hmm...how about this one!”

Emiko flipped the page in a cake cookbook and pointed to a picture of a strawberry pinwheel cake. She looked up to her mother and grinned when Risa gave her a smile of her own and nodded.

“Alright…let’s see…we need 2 large eggs…sugar, cake flour, baking powder, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and some powdered sugar.”

“Emiko’ll get the flour and veggie oil!”

The little bean hopped off of her mini stand near the counter and ran over to one of the low shelves in the near-by pantry to get the container of flour and later the bottle of vegetable oil while Risa got the other ingredients.

The two had planned to make the cake for Ai, who was currently out for a musical rehearsal. Ouji sat near the kitchen doorway watched the two in boredom as Risa began to oil the pan, and then turn on the oven. She then went to get the eggs, and cracked them into the mixing bowl to mix. After pouring in the other ingredients and mixing them together, the two beans carefully poured the mixture into the pan and put it in the oven to cook.

“Let’s make the strawberry filling now~!”

“Ok!”

“We need whipping cream…”

“Check!”

“Sugar?”

“Got it!”

“Lemon curd…”

“Eh? Lemons?? That can’t go in a cake!”

The little bean tilted her head in confusion as she moved the sugar over to mother. Looking up from the book to meet confusion in her daughter’s eyes, Risa laughed and gently poked Emiko’s nose with her flour covered hand.

“It’s alright, Mama will get it; Mii-chan can go get the strawberries.”

“Ok!”

Risa got the curd, and let Emiko pour the required amounts into the mixer while she chopped the strawberries, occasionally taking a few bites and giving some to the little bean as well. They sprinkled the strawberries into the mixture. While they waited for the cake to finish, Risa began to clean up the bowls and utensils and put them away, until she felt a sudden pain in her stomach.

“Ah!! The baby’s kicking!”

“Eh?? Really?? Uso!”

The little bean looked over from the table she was trying to set for the three of them later and quickly ran over, reaching out her hand to feel. Risa directed her small hands to the side of her stomach where Emiko felt the slight movement. Emiko gasped and looked up to her mother.

“Emiko can feel it!”

“I know~!”

Risa smiled at her when the baby’s movements stopped. The little bean continued roaming her hands while the older bean placed the filling and sauces next to them. Emiko gave a small frown when she couldn’t feel anything anymore.

“Do you think the baby can hear me?”

“Hmm Mama thinks so~ when Mii-chan was always squirming in there I’d sing or just talk to you when Papa wasn’t around…”

“Really? Did it work?”

“Sometimes it did, and sometimes it didn’t…but that’s when I knew Mii-chan was just like Papa since she acts the same way sometimes too…”

The ding from the timer interrupted their little talk and Risa went over to the oven and took out the cake, rolled it tightly, and placed it on the rack to cool while Emiko went on to finish setting up the table. She leaned over the counter and watched her daughter as they continued their conversation.

“One thing would always work though…”

“What was it?”

“Mama used to tell you secrets~!”

“Really?? What kind? Like how you’re secretly a princess??”

“Eh? A princess? Who told you that?”

“Papa! She told Emiko one time that Mama was a princess!”

Finished setting the table, Emiko ran over to her and hopped back on the stand while she gently unrolled the cake. They then started to spread the jam onto it while
Risa giggled to herself and tried to remember.

“Well I don’t know what kind of things Papa tells you but, I would tell you how many people couldn’t wait to see you…or about any surprises I was planning for Papa when her birthday was coming up…”

Emiko gave her mother a cute pout.

“Mou~ Mama, those aren’t secrets~!”

Risa gave a matching pout of her own.

“And why not?”

“Because~!”

Sighing and giving into her childish side, Risa looked at her daughter and gave her a serious look.

“Alright…I did tell you one special secret…”

“What was it??”

“I told you how Papa rescued me from an evil witch!”

“Eh~?!”

The bean nodded as she finished putting on the last bit of jam and began to reroll the cake.

“Does Mii-chan wanna tell her a secret?”

“What would Emiko say?”

“Mii-chan could say something about yourself…”

“Hmm…Maybe…”

Emiko got the strawberry syrup nearby and began to squeeze it onto a plate to present the cake on. Has she tried her best to squeeze out hearts and flowers, Risa watched her.

“How about you tell her how great of a dancer you are?”

“Mama, the syrup won’t come out!”

She took the bottle and opened the cap to realize that the seal on it wasn’t even broken yet. Pealing it off and twisting the cap back on, she gave it back to Emiko and helped her make the hearts and flowers. She then went and got some sprinkles and poured some out into the small bowl. Getting the knife, she carefully cut into the cake and they both sighed in relief when a perfect red swirl was visible.

“It’s perfect Mama!”

“Un!”

Risa carefully placed the cake on the plate and carefully poured the powdered sugar on top of it while Emiko sprinkled some sprinkles after.

“How about Mii-chan tells her how she’ll be the greatest big sister ever?”

Emiko looked up to the older bean who was giving the cake its finishing touches and gave her a soft grin, when the little bean suddenly jumped off the stand and placed herself right in front of the beans slightly large stomach and the counter. The little girl brought her hands up and gently touched her stomach.

“Imoutou-chan is really going to love Mama…”

The older bean looked down at her with wide eyes and then smiled when she felt her daughter rest her head and wrap her small arms around her stomach. Emiko gave a soft smile of her own and looked up to Risa. The sweet atmosphere was suddenly broken when the sound of a lock and door turning was heard and Ouji suddenly jumped up and ran to it, with Emiko right after.

“Papa you’re home~!”

gah i keep writing stuff that im not supposted to lol damn my brain....and modivation.... oh well here's some kataomoi gakipon for you guys~

Loves Cheerleader

‘Love this kind of me completely!’

She was always told to “do her best” even if she felt her best wasn’t good enough. When other seniors and staff members tried to give her encouragement, Erina still couldn’t get herself out of her negative slump. When she got to that low point though, there was always one person who’d somehow pull her out. It was her beloved Niigaki-san. There was just something about how she talked to her that made the younger girl feel like she could do anything. It was like Risa’s “ganbare!” was one of the many reasons why she could persist for so long. There were times though, when she thought about her beloved leader leaving, and it worried her. Could she still go on by herself? Could she be a proud and confident girl even after Risa leaves? To be honest she was actually quite scared of the future ahead.

Erina never felt such desperation before. If it was her world, she’d never want Niigaki-san to leave, and to just stay forever and ever in Morning Musume, but of course her world never could truly exist. It was just a KY’s dream world after all. Going back into her mini depression, Erina wondered something. Out of the 4 of them, why did Niigaki-san pick her? She wasn’t good as good as singing and dancing like Riho-chan, nor was she beautiful or a great artist like Mizupon, and she certainly wasn’t funny like Kanon-chan. What was there to like about her? Even if she didn’t know the reason, she was certainly happy that Risa chose her.

Whenever her leader was with her she’d get enthusiastic. She did her best in whatever it was that needed to be done that day. Even when she was by herself, Erina started to act a bit more independently. Some said it was a bit too much high tension while others thought she was just overdoing it, but the girl didn’t care. A girl in love was a strong thing after all. Risa being by her side made everything more fun and exciting. She loved the older girl so much it almost brought her to tears sometimes! But when that happened she tried her best to never to tell the motherly leader what the true problem was. How could she? Saying “the reason I’m crying so much is because I love you!” was too embarrassing to say to her face.

‘I’ll get over it and say it to her one day…’

Risa was always nice enough to explain things to her as well. It grew from just dancing and singing to personal problems and even homework. She’d try her best to explain it in different ways until either Erina understood, or until she had to head out for an interview or some other grown up matter. Leader was clearly the best at everything! But no matter how great and cheery Risa was, she had her own sad moments as well.

Of course she would never show it to the others, Erina knew she didn’t want to worry them, but when Risa’s own dark days came, the younger girl had no idea what to do. It was during one of those days that Erina found out that it was only her being cheered on this whole time and never trying to repay back the favor. When one of her older sempai’s were around, Erina clearly noticed the difference Risa acted around them. She was still her motherly self, but she didn’t need to be too motherly, if that made any sense. It was like leader could act like a more carefree person. Whenever she had the chance, Erina would take the chance and listen into her sempai’s conversation. Deep down she liked listening to these kind of things!

‘From now on I’ll cheer on Niigaki-san too!’

She can overcome anything as long as she put her mind to it! Erina was certain of it now. Even if her lovely leader was going on her own path now she was determined to try her best to give it her all! Even if she overdid it and became a bit clumsy. It didn’t matter if she wasn’t the best singer, or the prettiest girl in the group. She’ll try her best to make Risa proud! She also promised herself to cheer her leader on her own new path as well! And who knows? Maybe one day she can get over that nervous hump and probably confess to her! Until then she just had one wish deep in her heart:

‘Niigaki-san…Love this kind of me completely no matter what!’

You go home by bike, and I by train

A soft hum was made from a bicycle as two young women silently walked down the concrete road to the nearby translation. Their footsteps echoed together down the street, one after the other. In between them, their hands were linked together, slowly winging with their quiet beat from their feet as their free hands held onto a purse and bike respectively.

The slightly taller girl who held the purse looked down at the ground, letting her dark brown shoulder length hair cover her face that was also snuggling into the soft scarf that was snuggly wrapped around her neck. Her companion looked straight ahead, sneaking glances at her every now and then while trying to keep her bike from turning too much. Her short black hair slightly bounced with each step they took. Neither wanted to say goodbye to one another, especially after the fun day they had together, but it was no use, it was time for them to part.

Still holding hands, the couple finally reached their destination, and stood in front of the small station. The taller girl stopped her steps and looked over to meet eyes with the shorter. Her grip tightened a little, telling the other wordlessly that she didn’t want to let go yet. The look she got back in the shorter girl’s told her that she felt the same way.

“How about we get some coffee until the train comes?”

“Un…alright…”

The shorter girl grinned as she rested her bike on the wall next to them and took off her backpack to get her wallet. As she was doing this, the taller girl smiled, went to buy her ticket, and sat on the bench next to the bike, watching her trot over to the nearby vending machine. When she came back, the shorter girl frowned, looking a bit disappointed. Her girlfriend looked up at her with a slightly raised eyebrow as she asked her what was wrong.

“Gomen…I bought the cold coffee instead of the warm ones by accident…”

“Mou~ Ai-chan, I told you need to make sure you read the descriptions right before you just pick what you like.”

Ai pouted some more as her girlfriend chuckled at her mistake and reached out her hand to take one of the cans.

“It’s alright, even if it’s cold, we can be warm together, nee?”

The older girl’s cheeks turned to a light shade of pink as she nodded her head and sat down. Popping open the cap and taking a small sip, Risa instantly shivered as the cold beverage went down her throat.

“Ah~ it’s cold~! But it tastes so good~”

Ai copied the same gesture and let out a sigh as the faint sound of the train came closer to the station. They looked at one another when it came to a stop. Both were unsure on what to say exactly. Even when the announcement for any last minute passengers was called, nether could move; or rather they didn’t want to. The two girls didn’t want this sudden moment of togetherness to finish. Risa looked back down at the now empty can in her hands. The bean knew that if she missed the next train she’d probably be in-trouble with her parents. Pulling back a few strands of loose hair, she looked back up to Ai who was just finishing her own can.

“Nee…Ai-chan, will you send me off on the next train that comes in?”

“Sure.”

Feeling her eyes slightly water from either the cold weather or from her own emotions, Ai gave the bean a soft smile and stood up to throw their cans away. Risa observed her, wondering what it was Ai was feeling at that very moment; if it was the same as her. That feeling of wanting to stay together for just a bit longer. When Ai came back, Risa stood up and extended her hand to the older girl who took it instantly. Even though both of their hands were cold, they both could still feel that tiny bit of warmth in their palms.

The couple slowly walked to the ticket gate and stopped a few feet in front of it. Glancing down at their hands and then to each other, Risa was the first to speak up.

“I’ll call you when I get home ok?”

“Alright, I’ll be waiting…”

They exchanged small smiles and gave a quick soft kiss. Risa slightly loosened her grip as she took a few steps forward only to stop when she felt hers and Ai’s pinkies were still laced together. She turned a little and looked down at their entwined pinkies and then to Ai, who looked like she was fighting back those tears from before.

The bean giggled and gave the older girls bangs a slight ruffle to try and cheer her up.

“Don’t get like this now, Ai-chan~ I already told you I’ll call you when I’m home…and maybe then we can plan our next date ok?”

Ai nodded and mumbled an apology as she finally let her hand fall to her side and fought back a small sniffle. Risa gave her one last ruffle and gently kissed her forehead as she trotted through the ticket gate to head towards home. When she got near the waiting line, she turned back to the monkey who now had her bicycle with her. The older girl waved her hand at Risa who gave a small one in return.

Every time a train passed through the station, the bean felt her heart speed up a little. She constantly looked back every few minutes just to make sure that her lover was still there. When her train finally came, Ai gave her another small wave and the bean smiled back, turning to the now open doors and entering the small car. She quickly ran to the opposite window and sat her bag on the space of the seat next to her as she eagerly waited for the older girl to appear. After a few more minutes, the doors closed and the train began to move. As soon as it did, Risa noticed Ai steadily trying to catch up on her bike. The older girl gave her one last big wave as the train’s pace began to quicken.

‘It’s a bit dangerous so be careful…’

She smiled and watched the small girl who continuously waved at her move further and further away until she couldn’t see her anymore. Risa rested her head on the glass window and closed her eyes as a small smile grew on her face. She let the train’s gentle rocking relax her as she remembered the days fun events, and about that lovely girl on the bike that had given her that happiness.

“Thanks for a fun day Ai-chan…”

The big question

Emiko was a bright and cute girl. Whenever something was on her mind, she’d just bluntly ask like the child she was. Along with that, she was a great observer.
The little bean would usually wait for the right moment to ask things that were normal for a kid her age, but to her parents, they still had their moments where they felt she was still that little baby that just crawled all over the place. It was when she started asking certain questions that the couple were hit with a reality check.

It was a normal day for the three of them; Ai was coloring with Emiko while Risa was in one of her nesting moods and was cleaning up in the kitchen. The two monkeys were focusing hard on their drawings and decided to draw one another. The little monkey was constantly looking up from her paper, focusing hard on drawing her Papa perfectly. When Risa was done, she walked over and sat down on the couch, watching the two of them. Ouji sat next to her, lazily wagging his tail, basking in this calm atmosphere.

“Nee, Papa…”

“Hmm?”

“How are babies made?”

Ai froze in her place for a brief moment and quickly looked over to the little girl across from her who was still coloring. She then looked over to Risa who had the same wide eyed expression on her face. This was clearly one of those moments that both parents thought they were ready for, but clearly went. When she noticed that her papa was unusually quiet, the little bean looked up and asked again.

“Papa, did you hear me?”

“E-eh?”

She looked over at Emiko and smiled.

“Say it again…Papa didn’t quite here you…”

“Emiko said, how are babies made?”

“W-well…”

The older monkey looked back to Risa, pleading for some type of help from the pregnant girl. Risa turned her attention to Emiko and gave the little bean a smile.

“Why would Mii-chan want to know?”

“Well, Yuka-chan said that babies came from the stork, but then Haru-chan said that couldn’t be true since it wouldn’t make sense for a baby to be in a mama’s tummy, which is true right?”

The two parents gave a nod as The little bean continued on.

“Emiko told Yuka that she couldn’t be right but she said that’s what her mama and papa told her, but then Haru-chan said that they were wrong, and when I told her that she was wrong Yuka-chan said that I should ask Mama and Papa.”

Ai and Risa looked at their daughter in slight shock at her explanation. How and why are kids at such a young age having heated discussions about where babies come from? They couldn’t even spell the word ‘baby’ by themselves yet, let alone be talking about how they’re made! The two looked at each other again, desperately trying to think of what to do.

‘Should we just tell her?’

‘No! She’s too young!’

‘Well we can’t just tell her no…’

“If Papa and Mama won’t tell Emiko, should she ask Nekonee-chan, or Usaginee-chan?”

“Eh!? No! Papa will tell you!”

“WHAT?!”

Emiko looked over to mother in confusion. Ai did the same but her face was more of in an expression of shock than confusion. Why on earth did she have to tell her? She wasn’t ready for this!

“Mou~ Risa-chan why me???”

“Because…it’s a Papa’s job to tell stuff like this to their children…”

“Eh~? That’s not a good enough reason~!”

The little bean watched as her two parents continued on with their odd conversation. Was it that important that they had to argue about who would tell her? Why couldn’t both of them? It was weird being a grownup.

“You should tell her…you’re the one with a kid inside~!”

“That you put in me!”

Slightly forgetting that their daughter was watching this small squabble, Emiko slowly brought the pieces she understood from it together in her head and interrupted them.

“So Papa put a baby in Mama?”

“N-no! that’s not it Emi-chan…”

“So where do babies come from~?”

“Do you really want to know Emi-chan?”

The little bean nodded her head eagerly as Ai closed her eyes and gave a defeated sigh. Risa grinned, clearly happy that she won this round and waited for just how the older girl would tell this to their daughter. Ai opened her eyes and gave Emiko a slightly serious look.

“Babies come from…a…very special place…think like a farm…and when a Mama and Papa go there, they choose what type of baby they’d like based off a certain fruit!”

“Eh~? Really?? What kind of fruit did Mama and Papa choose for Emiko?”

“Strawberries of course-OW!”

A pillow roughly collided with Ai’s head, as Risa stood up and threw another one.

“Don’t tell her something as foolish as that! Either tell her the right way or don’t tell her at all!”

The older girl frowned as she took one of the pillows she was attacked with and placed it on her lap, leaving Emiko even more confused as she looked at her still slightly fuming mother. She still wasn’t 100% used to this slightly more violent version of her mama, but she knew that maybe the baby had something to do with it. It was just another observation to add to the back of her young mind.

“Saying something like that when it’s an important topic I swear…”

“You know…I think I’m starting to like it more when you get a bit angry…its cute…AH!”

Ai ducked another pillow attack, and heard the fast stomping of feet walk away from her and Emiko. When the Gaki tornado was gone, Ai slowly sat back up to meet still confused eyes from her daughter.

“Papa…I think you made Mama really angry this time…”

“Mou~ Emi-chan~ What should papa do then?”

The little bean looked up to the ceiling for a brief moment and clapped her hands when the idea came to her.

“Let’s make an apology card for her!”

“Alright…”

Ai got two more blank sheets of paper and the two started to color again. Even though Ai was slightly thankful that the little bean seemed to forget about the question that started all of this, Emiko clearly didn’t as she started to draw a bright red strawberry.

‘Maybe next time Nekonee-san and Usaginee-san come over Emiko will ask them if it’s true that babies come from a strawberry farm…’

Emiko was a smart young girl but she was still believed almost everything her parents, and older family friends told. She was a kid afterall.

i got this idea off of a mimi manga online http://dynasty-scans...ndless_repeat#1

Endless Repeat

Hugging a random pillow to herself, Ai lazily rolled onto her back on the bed as she watched Risa sitting across from her on the floor lazily reading through one of her play scripts. The two thankfully had a day off at the same time and decided that it was probably just best to spend it relaxing at the younger girls house in her room. Even though this calm atmosphere was nice to have, the older girl was beginning to get bored.

“Nee Risa-chan~”

“Hm?”

“I’m bored~!”

The bean placed the script on her lap and looked over to her girlfriend with a smile on her face. She knew that Ai’s boredom mostly meant that she wanted some attention from her. So deciding to spoil the older girl a bit she asked her on what they should do.

“Let’s play Shiritori!”

“Alright then, you start.”

Ai eagerly rolled back onto her stomach as she began their little game.

“Ok! We’re starting from “Shiritori” right? So Risu!”

“Uhh…Suugaku!”

“Kuwagata!”

“Ta…Tako!”

“Hmmm…KoKoa!”

“Aisu!”

Thinking for a moment, Ai tilted her head to try and scramble for the right word. When it came to her, the older girl took a hold of Risa’s wrist and gave her that signature smile that the bean loved.

“Suki!”

Risa felt her cheeks heat up, causing Ai’s smile to grow even more.

“Ai-cha-“

“Oi that’s not correct~! Keep going!”

“We’re starting from “Ki”…”

The bean scooted closer to her girlfriend, and while brining her hand to tilt Ai’s head up from her chin and leaning down, she gave the older girl a brief kiss. When they parted, Risa gave Ai a soft smile of her own.

“-su… The next one’s “su”…”

Ai looked at her in a daze until she heard the bean speak up a bit louder. Coming back to her senses she continued on with their game.

“If that’s the case…”

She sat up and leaned closer to her still blushing girlfriend.

“I’ll use the one from before…and we’re back again~!”

This time it was Ai’s turn to lean in and give the younger girl a kiss and causing her to fall back onto the bed. The couple then spent the rest of their day on this endless repeat.

------------------------------

The big question 2

“Usaginee-chan…can Emiko ask you a question?”

“Sure Emiko-chan~! What do you want to ask me~?”

Reina glanced at the other two girls next to her as she took another lick out of her ice-cream. She watched Emiko as the little bean took a bite out of her colorful Popsicle and looked up to the tall bunny. The trio were sitting on a bench in the nearby park near Emiko’s house. Sayu was asked to watch Emiko while Ai and Risa went out for a checkup of the baby, and the bunny took it as an opportunity to bring Reina along with her.

“Where do babies come from?”

The bunny blinked in slight shock for a moment but quickly regained her composure with a bright smile and ruffled the little girl’s hair.

“And why would Emiko-chan want to know that~?”

“Because, I asked Mama and Papa, but they wouldn’t tell me…”

Emiko gave a pout and took another bite of her treat, as Sayu looked over to Reina who just shrugged and continued on eating her own iced snack. It wasn’t really her problem if those two did tell her or not, and the kid didn’t ask her anyway.

“Do you know what Papa told me Nekonee-chan?”

“Hm?”

“She said that Emiko came from a strawberry farm, but then Mama got upset for some reason and told her to tell me the right way or not at all…”

Reina sighed as she heard the little bean’s explanation. Of all the things Ai could’ve came up with it just had to be something as bogus as a strawberry farm? And what made it worse was that the kid would’ve believed it too if Gaki-san didn’t knock some sense into her.

“Is that so?”

“Yeah…so that’s why Emiko wanted to ask you and Usaginee-chan…You guys would know…right?”

“Eh?? Why would we know??”

“Well next to Mama and Papa, you two are the only grownups Emiko knows that know everything!”

Sayu tried her best to hide a giggle as she ruffled Emiko’s head again and looked at Reina.

“Ah~ Emiko-chan you’re just too cute~! But we don’t know everything.”

“But if you know where babies come from, will you tell Emiko??”

“We do know, but that doesn’t mean we’ll tell you…”

“Eh~? Why not~?”

“Cus, brats like you are too young to know things like that.”

“But Emiko’s old enough! I’ll be 7 next year!”

“That’s not old enough.”

“Yes it is~!”

“It’s not, and finish your popsicle before it melts…”

Emiko crossed her arms and frowned even more as she finished the rest of her popsicle. Sayu’s giggles eventually broke the tense silence between the two younger
girls next to her as she tried her best to get her composure back.

“Ah~ Reina sometimes I wonder if you’re the same age as Emiko-chan or if your older!”

“What’s that supposed to mean?! Just cus the kid wants to know that she came from se-!”

The bunny quickly covered the kitten’s mouth before she could finish her sentence, causing Emiko to look up at them in confusion. Why would Usaginee-chan suddenly just cover Nekonee-chan’s mouth like that? Was it something she said?

“Se? What’s Se? Is that where babies come from??”

“N-no, just ignore her ok Emiko-chan? Reina-chan just got a bit carried away there…didn’t you Reina?”

The kitten just gave her a death glare as she slowly took her hands away from her and finished the rest of her ice-cream. The little bean still watched with uncertainty as Sayu gave her a smile and gently poked her nose.

“I don’t think if we’re the right ones to tell you… that’s a responsibility for your Mama and Papa to decide…Right Reina?”

“Hmpf…Whatever…”

“So does that mean you won’t tell me?”

Sayu nodded and gave the little girl a bright smile.

“You’ll just have to wait for Mama and Papa to tell you ok?”

“…Ok…”

The bunny stood up when she noticed Reina was finished with her ice-cream and took the little beans hand, who then reached for Reina’s. Looking down at the grinning girl, Reina gave in and laced her long fingers with Emiko’s small ones. The trio began walking and as they did, Emiko looked up to meet Sayu’s grin, and Reina’s annoyed frown. Even though she never truly got her answer, she was sure of one thing:

‘Grownups are sure weird…maybe it’s better if Emiko doesn’t know yet…’

------------------------

so this was based off of s/mileages 1st indes single aMa no Jaku which i love so much ;3; so here u all go

Contradictory

‘I’m not interested in you in the least…’

Ai watched with a blank expression from across the classroom as her best friend was eagerly chatting to one of the younger students in the student council. The meeting was officially over and there were a few others left over talking about various things. Even though the other member’s for Ai’s and her friend Risa’s class had already left, the younger girl had decided to stay back for a few minutes.

The monkey knew deep down that this talk she was having with the new student was nothing more than normal, but lately she had noticed that her friend had been acting a bit more distant with her. It didn’t help that the older girl also felt that she was starting to gain a small crush, but she just pushed it aside and tagged it with the jealousy that was brewing inside her. She wanted Risa to herself, but that’d be impossible since the bean was the reliable type.

Sighing, Ai’s face changed from emotionless to a slight frown as Risa tucked a loose strand of short hair behind her ear. The younger girl had recently cut it, and though Ai missed the long locks that she had she had to admit that it made Risa even cuter than ever. The one thing she didn’t like was that Risa never even told her that she was going to cut it. She just had long hair one day and then the next it was all gone. How could she love someone that couldn’t even tell her about wanting to get her hair cut? Noticing that the bean was finally done, Risa quickly trotted over to her desk and gave the monkey a smile.

“Nee, Ai-chan are you ready to go home now?”

“Yeah…”

Risa’s smile faded a little as she noticed that the older girl wasn’t as cheery as she usually was.

“…Is everything ok?”

The older girl gave her a short nod, and then stood up. She then took her bag and slung it around her shoulder, giving Risa a small smile.

“Let’s get going.”

-----------------

“There’s a game next week isn’t there? Maybe I should ask Gaki-san about it…”

Ai flipped the page of her textbook and looked over to her cell phone. She gave it a good long look as she shook her head of the thought and went back to her studying. Her focus only lasted for a few seconds though as she wondered more about her friend. She remembered how the bean had a new bike now, and that she was getting pretty close with that Abe-sempai.

“No…I’m not interested in her at all…absolutely not….”

She couldn’t be interested in that girl. Why would she? Nope she wasn’t interested in all. She didn’t even feel sad on the few days the two couldn’t talk. Even when Risa invited her to the amusement park she wasn’t interested. It was only because the whole student council was going along that the older girl decided to go.

‘Just this once should be ok right?’

That’s what she thought when she saw the beans face light up in happiness at when she gave in. It wasn’t like they had a bad time either. All of the members enjoyed themselves and even decided to try again when they were on summer vacation. She remembered smiling non-stop, as well as laughing or screaming with Risa on every ride they went on. It was a memorable trip. Looking back over to her phone, Ai slowly closed her book, and gave into calling the bean.

‘Talking about normal things isn’t bad, we are friends after all…’

Even when Risa was being kind to her, or commented her on her hairstyle, the older girl tried her best to burry these odd feelings for her. She kept repeating to herself that she wasn’t interested, she shouldn’t be, but here she was constantly giving her friend more and more affection, only to act cold later on. The times she got help from studying, and the times that the bean protected her rung strong in her head.

“No…I’m not interested at all….I don’t even want to remember your face right now….”

But that was easier said than done.

------------------------------

It was hard being away from her; especially when Ai was usually around her as often as she could. It was now summer vacation, and with time like this meant to be hanging out and having fun with her best friend, Ai was locked up in her room, currently angry at the girl for some stupid reason that she couldn’t even remember. The monkeys cellphone rang suddenly causing her to groan in frustration at it. From the certain ringtone she knew it was Risa and she was in no mood to talk to the younger right now, even if she really wanted to deep down.

“That damn brat, always getting me pissed off! I could just…..UGH!”

A defenseless pillow was thrown towards the floor in anger as her phone rang again. Finaly giving in, Ai sat up and stomped over to her bag to look for the still ringing electronic. When she finally found it and answered the younger girl with her rough hometown accent, she felt the beans voice instantly calm her as she gave an apology.

“Look I’m sorry about whatever it was we were arguing about Ai-chan…I don’t want our summer getting ruined just because of a silly argument…Do you forgive me?”

“….”

“Please Ai-chan?”

Sighing into the phone, Ai calmed down and gave her reply.

“Alright, I forgive you, and….I’m sorry too…”

Hearing a sigh of relief from the girl, Ai smiled to herself, imagining the expression on her small round face at the moment.

“How about I make it up to you and let’s go to the arcade later?”

“You’re acting to kind with me Gaki-san~!”

“No I’m not! I want to make it up to you and I will!”

“Alright, I’ll see you in a few hours then.”

‘No matter how nice and loving you are to me…I just can’t be interested in you…I don’t know hwat I’d do myself if I gave in to it…’

------------------------------

“You’re moving away soon aren’t you?”

“Yeah…”

Ai looked over to Risa. Her hair was just a bit past her shoulders, and she had grown a few centimeters since the last school semester. Ai had changed as well. Her long dark hair was gone and was now a light brown boyish cut. Even though there were physical changes, their personalities were still the same. One was still trying to fight her loves interest while the other was still as kind as ever. The bean looked over to her and smiled as she reached her hand to fix a few loose strands of hair on the older girls head.

“Who’ll I have to help me study now?”

“You’ll find someone else…or you could just try yourself.”

“It wouldn’t be the same…”

“Yeah…you’ll need a tougher skin now too you know…”

“Mou~ Gaki-san~!”

Risa giggled as she got a gentle shove from the monkey. Scooting closer to the younger girl, Ai wrapped an arm around Risa’s waist and rested her head on her shoulder. The beans smile only grew wider, as she heard Ai mumble some silly nonsense. Enjoying this contact, Ai closed her eyes and nuzzled her head closer to her friend’s neck.

“You need to stop being so nice to me Gaki-san…”

“And what if I don’t~?”

“I’ll pretend to cry for you when you leave….”

The bean started giggling again as she ruffled the older girls hair. Ai said nothing else after that. She just wanted to bask in this for a little longer. No matter how hard she tried to tell herself she wasn’t interested, that feeling she had for the girl was still there. Hopefully she could stop it one day. But for now, she’d tell herself again.

‘There’s no way I’m interested in you…now that your moving away…I’ll take what little time I have left with you…’

This was all she could do to make herself not cry.

If…

The silence was deafening. She didn’t like this at all. Looking back up to the driver’s seat, Risa saw the same blank expression on Ai’s face. The older girls hands rested
limply on the wheel; tapping her fingers to a silent beat every few seconds. They were parked right in front of Risa’s apartment after a fun date at the shopping center. Risa waited a few more seconds, cleared her throat and repeated her question again.

“Can’t we stay out a little bit longer?”

“Hm?”

Ai snapped out of her silent daze and looked over to her girlfriend, who was shyly staring back at her.

“I don’t want to go home yet…Lets drive for a bit longer…”

“But Risa-chan…”

“Please? How about we go to the convenience store?”

The older girl sighed and shook her head as she tried to fight against those cute puppy dog eyes that the younger was giving her. She had to stay strong and not give in, no matter how adorable they were, and how cute those round cheeks and lips were she had to say no. Turning her head back to the lightly lit street ahead of them, the older girls strong resolve was starting to waver.

“I have to go home…I have rehearsals at school tomorrow remember?”

Her defense was clearly weak but if Risa noticed she didn’t do much to call Ai out on it. The bean let out a hum as her pleading expression quickly grew into a frown.

She also looked over to see whatever space Ai was staring at and frowned even more at the emptiness of it all. The two were college students after all, but it wouldn’t hurt to stay out a bit longer, that’s what young adults their age did after all.

Maybe it was because she was just a photography freshman while Ai only had one year left at her own performance art school? Or could it be that she was missing something maturity wise?
Whatever it was she still wanted to stay out with Ai at this very moment. Even if she had to act a bit out of her character and be spoiled.

“I’ll pick you up tomorrow after your classes finish…”

“…Promise?”

She reluctantly looked back over to her grinning girlfriend. Ai gave a firm nod as she leaned in, giving Risa a soft and gentle kiss. The bean felt her cheeks lightly heat up at the quick action and turned away again. She didn’t want her slight spoiled bratiness to disappear so quickly, it was her nickname after all.

“…Fine…”

Ai chuckled to herself as she watched the younger girl take her belongings and exited the car. The bean turned around and gave Ai a small smile.

“Thanks again for today Ai-chan.”

“Don’t mention it.”

------------------------------------

After greeting her parents and younger sister, Risa swung her bedroom door closed and dropped her bags onto the small table near her bed. She quickly laid her back onto the soft mattress as the tiredness was finally beginning to hit her. In a lazy motion, the bean brought her arm up to look at the time and sighed again when she realized it was 11:30 pm. Just how long were her and Ai out together today? Could it really have been that long? Well it didn’t matter now. She had clearly enjoyed herself.

“I do wish we could’ve stayed out longer though….”

She knew Ai must’ve felt the same way, it was in the monkey personality, and she knew that girl in and out, even if she was still full of surprises. Their romance was still pretty young after all.
Turning to her side, Risa smiled to herself. Ai’s little personality surprises were one of the many things she liked about the older girl. She could be brave and beat someone senseless in one minute, but then shriek and hide behind the bean in the blink of an eye. Every now and then though, she wished for a small bit of a romantic rush with Ai, just like the ones that were always on TV.

‘Maybe that’s over thinking it though…and too predictable….But it still would be nice….’

Maybe if she broke in a fever or fell down and got hurt, maybe Ai would rush to her just like the leading females love interest would in those dramas. The older girl could shower her with love and nurse her back to health. She’d forgive any small disappointment or fight with Ai if she did something overly romantic like that.

“I bet I really would forgive everything…”

What about a scary dream? She didn’t have them much, but it was always better to call Ai than her Mama. All she had to do was reach for her phone, dial that familiar number and she could tell Ai the whole ordeal while she kindly listened on the other line. It would be good if she didn’t get upset though, but beggars couldn’t be choosers. Even Ai’s grumpy voice could be soothing at times.

It would also be good if she was right here next to the younger girl in her bed with her arms gently wrapped around her. And after the bean told her the nightmare Ai would just smile at her and give her a gentle kiss just like earlier in the car.

“Cutely would be nice…”

After taking a quick shower, Risa walked back to her bed and snuggled under the sheets to watch some TV. She sighed as she flipped through the channels, finding every station to be boring.

“Mou...I need to go to bed soon anyway…”

Risa was about to turn off the TV when her phone lit up and vibrated loudly against her mattress. She puffed her cheeks in slight annoyance as she pulled the device to see just who it was texting her so late. That annoyance quickly faded when it turned out to be a message from Ai.

Ai-chan: I made it home~! Look! Wouldn’t this dress we got today look good with those shoes I was telling you about??

“Really Ai-chan? It’s too late for this kind of conversation now…”

The bean suppressed a yawn as she looked at the picture attached to the message. She was about to reply back when another text came forth.

Ai-chan: Did Risa-chan fall asleep already?? Did I wake you up??

She smiled as she shook her head to the brightly lit screen and quickly replied back to the worried girl. It was cute things like this that made her forgive Ai so easily.

Risa: No, I was just watching TV, and that does look cute together~! Then again everything looks cute on Ai-chan~ Plus, how come your not sleeping?

Ai-chan: Can’t sleep^^;

Their conversation continued on like this for a while, with Ai constantly sending Risa more and more snapshots of possible coordinates. Eventually their chat began to slow down and the bean decided to change the topic.

Risa: Nee, Ai-chan I was really happy that you came and picked me up from work today.

Ai-chan: Really? I’m happy you’re happy~( ´艸`)

Risa chuckled to herself over her girlfriend’s signature emoticon and continued on.

Risa:”Yeah…

It got silent for a while and Risa wondered if the older girl finally fell asleep when she sent her another message.

Ai-chan: Hey Risa, if the world were to end today…what would you do?

“What would I do…? That’s a pretty odd question…”

She looked at the screen in deep thought for a while wondering what she should say to the older girl.

Risa: I don’t know…that’s kind of a hard question…What would Ai-chan do?

Ai-chan: That’s a secret~!( ´艸`)

“Ehh~~?”

The bean rolled onto her back, frowning that Ai wouldn’t even answer her own question. It clearly wasn’t all that fair to ask her and get that in reply. She rolled back on her side and furiously typed back.

Risa: Mou~ Ai-chan that’s mean of you~!

Ai-chan: Waaaa~Risa-chan you’re just too cute~! I have another question for you though…

Risa: What is it?

Ai-chan: If I were starving and my stomach was grumbling…would you pretend that you didn’t hear it?

Risa blinked in confusion at this second question. What was Ai trying to get at here?

Risa: Well of course not! I’d do better than do something like that you know…Unlike you~ I was gonna ask you to give me a kiss too…

She still remembered that day pretty clearly. The two were on a date walking around in the park when her stomach started growling pretty loudly. She knew Ai heard it herself and being too shy to really say anything about it. The bean hoped that Ai would take that sign as to go and get a treat together, but the older girl just ignored it. She was too engrossed in her phone briefly looking over some play notes to really notice or say anything. Feeling pretty annoyed, Risa huffed and suddenly stormed off saying how Ai wasn’t going to get anymore kisses from her for the rest of the day.

Ai-chan: Didn’t I tell you that I was sorry about that last date already?? And I wasn’t pretending to ignore you~!

Risa: Yeah right >3>

Ai-chan: Mou~ Even though I don’t like it when she’s mad at me, angry Risa-chan is cute ~

The younger girl sighed as her face heat up at the sudden complement, and didn’t reply back for a while until a sudden thought came to her.

Risa: You know what…I think I can answer your 1st question now.

Ai-chan: Oh! Tell me! Tell me!!

Risa: Ok. If the world were to end today, next to spending it with Mama, Papa, and my sister I’d love to spend it with you too…And I’d want you to tell me funny things so I’d forget that something scary like that would be happening…you’d do that for me right?

Ai-chan: Un, I’d do anything to see you smile. Your smile’s precious to me you know~

Risa: So is yours silly~!

Noticing the time, Risa eventually persuaded the monkey to get some sleep. She was about to tell the older girl goodnight when a sudden impulse came over her.

Risa: Nee, Ai-chan…Let’s exchange a kiss before we go to bed…

Ai-chan: Eh? How can we kiss when we’re not even near each other??

Risa: It’s easy, just put ‘chu’ and the next time we meet up we can make the kiss real!

Ai-chan: Alright then…well…chu, chu, chu, chu, chu!

Risa: Chu!

She giggled and gave her glowing screen a quick kiss, smiling to herself while Ai’s reply came through.

Ai-chan: Mou~ only 1 kiss? That’s not fair~~!

Risa: I’ll make it up to you when we meet tomorrow k?

Ai-chan: Alright, I love you Risa-chan, Goodnight.

Risa: I love you too Ai-chan. Night.

Shutting off the TV and placing the phone on her bedside table, Risa quickly fell asleep, dreaming about how fun the next day would become.

Lilium, in my opinion, is the best H!P musical play ever known.
But hey, at least the lowers are blooming here in our world.
