Aika is now a solo artist, Yuu is a UFA soloist and Yuki is going to have her 1st solo single. Ah the 8th gen audition.

I thought that people were being cruel about Aika being picked until I actually saw the auditions... Then it was like "Yep, I see the problem now...(O_o)" But good luck to all of the girls, haha.

While 8th gen always seemed hard done by, I am so happy that all these girls did well for themselves in the end.
And for the record i thought Aika did great in the auditions. She was talented, focused and didn't crack under the pressure.

Thing is with H!P - the stuff with real historical value was already broadcasted on Asayan, that is - Heike, MM Gen 1-3, Country Musume and T&C.
The current acts and generations rode in under the umbrella's name.
Similarly, a documentary on Nogizaka46 or NMB48 most likely wouldn't gather as much attention, because even if they have hardships etc, it'd be really tough to sensationalize it to the level of the AKB early generations' stories.

I think a H!P documentary would have been interesting in 1999-2002, when H!P was slowly developping from "Heike Michiyo & MoMusu" into H!P. But now it wouldn't make sense.
