It's not very popular in the US.. I've only met about 3 girls named Cynthia. Have you heard of a famous American singer named Cyndi Lauper? ^_^

I hate when people misspell my name too! People write Cynthya/Cintea/Cynthea and one of my teachers called me Cyndia. Very strange to me. A lot people misspell 'Cyndi' too which makes me sad. :(

sometimes, people call me Cyndi but my friends call me cycy or tya!! I don't like when people make a mistake on the spelling of my first name!! They write "Cintia"!!
