Miyabi and Maasa will have a special FC event together on October 18.

 

Back in May during the Berryz event, Miya said she was thinking of other ways they could work together. She suggested doing two-person events like Miya/Maasa or Miya/Yurina, similar to the Kumaazu events Kumai-chan and Maasa have been doing for years. Good to see somebody was listening and it is happening.

During one of her dinner shows last week, Kumai-chan talked about a recent conversation she had with Captain. 

Saki-chan said it makes her happy that Maasa, Miyabi, and Yurina are still active and still singing Berryz Kobo songs. Yurina replied that if it was reversed and Captain was still performing, Kumaicho would say the same thing to her. 

 

Btw speaking of Captain... Her blog posts disappeared after her retirement.

However, thanks to some kind fans, the posts have actually been preserved at the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine!

Her blog was probably my favorite of the Berryz members.

Chinami and Risako got together recently to look at stickers, eat ramen, and talk about being mamas.

Chii said on her Insta that although their lives have changed, when they meet in person, they haven't changed at all, they are the same.

On behalf of Berryz Kobo, Maasa and Yurina were on the Inazuma Eleven New Era Kickoff Eve Live Broadcast.

(Alas, they are only on the program very briefly.)

Their appearance reminded a lot of people on X of Berryz Kobo's connection to Inazuma Eleven, provoking fond memories of how songs like Ryuusei Boy made them fans of BK and Hello!Poroject.

As a result, Berryz Kobo was trending on X for a while.
