's gender...apparently from Wiki, she's revealed to be actually a boy in the manga but from the anime episodes I've seen so far, especially the one where Amu stays overnight at hers, it seems to blatantly suggest she's a girl full-stop or is it the same in the manga or more so, it's just that she's hiding it well?

Man, I'm really behind lol. Used to follow this series closely, then I kinda lost track. Need to catch up soon.

The more I watch it, the more I'm liking Amu. Coupled with the whole theme of the story about fulfilling your dreams and all, it's a bit heartwarming for me, although still a pretty 'kiddy' anime. What can I say? It's got a good message. And Amu's really sweet.

Her family's nuts! But I like the parts when her sister Ami gets fascinated with the Shugo Chara lol. Esp. that episode where they try to find the embryo. LOL.

Utau's pretty, I'll give her that. And I like her outfits - on that note, all the outfits in this show are lovely. But her obsession with her brother is just borderline incestuous..

They holidays I was following it closely...

It is shown ones a week... so its easy to catch up....

If you are asking how many ep are there "ALL TOGETHER"... If my info are right... there be 51 ep all together before is over...
(Well if they come up with more ep or seasons.... then.... who knows there mite be more ep.)

Ep 16 is already aired on Japanese TV (TV Tokyo)... errrr yesterday....

Hmm Since I just watched ep17 and got nothing much to do and its 12 + in the morning.

I should write a review! (I never done any review so if mine suck dont blame me)

First off Ep17 is exiting! Yay!
Funny that Amu had a funny dream. So now Amu had to do a some sort of public speaking speech.
Woooo... the teacher ones to get Kukai's Heart's egg! I was like damn! Kukai? Thought he is strong but them he just got tick off by a few words.
Then for the second time in the library it was like tense! The teacher was so close to making Kukai's heart's egg to go X!
BUT Tada! Its a set up! Hahaha I was like damn! Hahaha..
Too bad they did manage to get the teacher's briefcase which contains other ppls' heart's egg info!
Their fight back fired and Amu's speech was destroyed! T.T
But then amu came back with a great impromptu speech and WON! Wii!!
Seriously and exciting ep with lots of twist...

I am loving where this anime is going... The ep now are much more exiting!
