the only reason it almost made me cry was cus there was no kaori1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen Tanpopo girls (Ishikawa, Yaguchi, Niigaki, Shibata) singing "Tanpopo" in H!P 2007 summer gig.
Thank you Tsunku for not forgetting this splendid unit and for arranging this tear-jerking performance![]()

it would have been even better if they brought Aya back now that would have been cool , i would have been like E.T. , E.T. , ect. What made me go --->the only reason it almost made me cry was cus there was no kaori
in this song was Niigaki starting and Yaguchi taking over the first verse. Then, having Ishikawa and Shibata coming on stage was a huge surprise. It took me a moment to realize what was going on (i.e. take all active Tanpopo members on the same stage for just this song). Kaorin was not there, probably, due to the fact that all OG members were an even bigger surprise for the end of the concert. If you ask me, however, this Tanpopo "reunion" was much more moving and unexpected. I totally wish for more surprises of that kind in future H!P concerts...

In my opinion, none!!!
Although I totally loved 3rd gen, their single seemed totally out of place when compared to 1st and 2nd gen songs.
4th gen Tanpopo would be a shameless milking of the Tanpopo "heritage", so I hope it never happens. Of course it is always a HUGE pleasure to see old Tanpopo members performing old Tanpopo songs and it would be even better to see a revival of 1st gen or 2nd gen Tanpopo.

totally but 1st gen would be the best , 2 momies and and a short girl who is probally the same height as sum of aya's kids would be great^ Interesting question...

Ninjam-an is right.v-u-den and melon kinen bi aren't sub-groups are they ??
Not by any defintion that I know of. Biyuden has one ex-member and that's it. The other six (total) were never Musumes. Pretty sure that excludes them from the sub-group title.
Subgroubs as we know only composite actually MM-Members.
Tanpopo (1st and 2nd Gen) was a real Sub and PetitMoni (1st and 2nd) too.
Otemegumi and Sakuragumi may count also as a kind of Subgroups.
But Tanpopo 3 or Pucchi 3 are (if you take it accurate) Shufflegroups.
(See Ayumi Shibata (MK) in Tanpopo or Ayaka (CCM)in Pucchimoni.)
However: Tanpopo was the strike of the genius....(you know who
I´m a hardcore of MM 2000 (look at my sig), but if there is one
formation that tops them ..... than its Tanpopo (special the
2nd Generation with the winterborn (Mari, Rika, Aibon)
I had to confess
(autuum 2002)... even I´m an old freak
If I really miss someone at the H!P ....than its Tanpopo

Very considerate move to include at least one Tanpopo song...
I highly doubt that Tanpopo will ever be back. IF this ever occurs, Niigaki had better be the first to join
