You do not have permission to change your display name.

 

Edit: I read an old post that explained that it takes 600 posts to unlock this option.

Someone that I knew gave up on trying to sign into her old account a month ago after not posting since 2020 is now seeing "The Administrator is not currently accepting new membership registrations" after giving up on that account since it didn't seem that recovery emails were going through.

 

Not sure if I just missed an update somewhere since I've similarly been mostly absent since then or if this is just an error on the backend since I've seen similar issues crop up over the years before they could be fixed.

I cannot login since the forum was updated (30th oct 2025)... More precisely, I was still connected through my mobile browser that's how I can send you this message but when I want to login in through my computer, my usename/email address/password is not recognized. Even if I want to reset my password, my user name/email address is not recognized and found. And I'm a member since 2009... I would be annoyed to lose my profile and start anew (if I can actually, which is not sure).

Can you help me, please? (Maybe I'm not the only one?)
