Anyone from the generation who watched the audition program ASAYAN on TV Tokyo probably remembers her☺

While living in Tokyo, she began taking interest in “sustainable farming that allows you to live no matter what environment you’re in,” and now she lives a life combining agriculture and music

That’s how she came across Kyosei Farming (symbiotic agriculture)

This year, she’s even taken on the challenge of growing rice for the first time
She’s a powerful woman who’s steadily realizing her dream of a self-sufficient lifestyle!

There are many things you can do in the city, but most of them exist on top of “consumption.”
In contrast, the “production” that can’t be done in the city is something you can do endlessly in the countryside.

Immersed in nature, receiving inspiration from the sounds of plants and insects, I can’t help but look forward to hearing what new songs will be born from that✨

When I was in high school, the local department store in Nabari once held an event featuring Heike-san.
The store, which was usually empty, was packed from the first to the third floor.

I still remember being deeply moved, thinking, “Someone this amazing was born in Nabari — dreams really can come true.”

Years later, when I was working as a director for the NHK Nagoya program Sarasara Salad, I had the opportunity to have Heike-san appear as a guest

I believe it was an episode where we looked back on her journey — from how songs had always been playing in her head since childhood, to the struggles she faced as a singer — and in the end, we read a letter from her mother.

And now, after all this time, we’re connected again — this time through agriculture, as fellow believers in a sustainable future.

Life truly is fascinating.
I’m sure my dear friend Oki-kun, who once cheered her on with me, is watching from heaven, mouth wide open in surprise

I imagine she’s gone through many painful and difficult experiences as an idol, wrestling with her image.
But it’s also true that many people found courage and strength in her voice and presence.

She now recharges her spirit in the countryside, then unleashes her full energy when she performs live in the city.

I hope she continues to sing the songs she loves freely and openly — sharing waves of joy and vitality with the world!

Mori-san!
Thank you so much for this wonderful post
What an incredible and unexpected reunion✨
The way connections work in life is truly mysterious

I’m so happy to know we share the same awareness — doing what we can for the Earth, beyond our different professions☺
Please let me visit your farm sometime!
I look forward to staying in touch and working together from here on out
