I don't want to be too negative and I'm sure the album will be great, but I really don't like when albums are like: CD1 = all the singles, CD2 = all the original songs. I think it's more interesting when they mix them together across the CDs. Like, you can think about why the management decided to put certain songs next to each other, and craft a narrative for the album.

MM ~ Nonaka Miki, Kaga Kaede ANGERME ~ Sasaki Rikako J=J ~ Takagi Sayuki, Danbara Ruru

Thank to gods i'm not the only one that HATE that type of albums. First, you don't need to put all the old songs of the previous singles in the album (the magic of the b-sides is dead for H!P :( ) and second, is stupid and aesthetically ugly put all the new songs together in a mini-album. If the new songs were 10 or more it wouldn't be a bad idea, but this is not the case.

I agree, i hate that kind of album (and never buy them). I wonder why they make this choice, and with only 6 or 7 new songs, it's enven more infuriating.

me too... like I don't always need an artist to pull the same thing Amuro Namie did with her 2015 _genic album (which didn't include any of the singles she'd released before it) as long as all the singles they've released before an album share similar-enough vibes :c18: but I'm less than willing to listen to an album if all the new songs on it are shoved onto a separate disc (at least I can still be willing to listen to an album like Koda Kumi's W Face where the lighter-sounding tracks are on one disc and the darker-sounding ones are on another  )

and btw if I were in charge of putting Beyoooonds 3rd together I would've been more selective with which material from the singles to include on them (i.e. I would've put Go City Go, Do Did Done, Aa Kimi ni Tensei, and Disco Carnival on the album while leaving out the rest) and then hired a selection of songwriters and producers who could write album cuts for Byonz that sound like they're cut from the same cloths as those songs (the likes of Nakata Yasutaka, q*Left + Hachioji-P, Michico + T.Kura, and Emyli come to mind for me :c18: )

Haha, I was worried I was the only one who didn't like it.

If I was in charge, I would still include all the singles. But any that weren't the "heavy hitters" would go with the other rejects on CD2. CD1 would be the 7 original songs and 4-5 singles that best fit the albums vibe. I wouldn't mind having an extra CD of tracks they just wanna throw in for completionism, so long as the main CD still listens like a "normal" album, and the original tracks get centred more.

When I buy albums like this, I sometimes rearrange the track lists myself when I put the mp3s on my computer. So if the rest of you want, I propose we all share our improved tracklists when the album is out.
