Ozeki Mai x Morito Chisaki Collaboration Single Release Date Set for Wednesday, December 17th, 2025!!

 

We sincerely thank you for your continued warm support of Ozeki Mai and Morito Chisaki We are pleased to announce the release of their collaboration single as a double A-side from the Zetima label. Title "Tachimukae Go way / Super Happy Lucky Special Day" (song order undecided)「立ち向かえGo way / Super Happy Lucky Special Day」(曲順未定)

The First Press Limited Edition A and B includes a Blu-ray disc featuring one music video from each of the two double A-side tracks, plus dance footage for the same song and making-of footage.

The Regular Editions A and B include different songs as additional tracks. They plan to perform the new songs at the Hiroshima concert on 10/25

How nice! Glad they're getting a release  maybe solo tracks as B-Side?

So the songs will be performed by both of them or separately?
Previously I had presented an idea where they should just have the soloists do a combined single release, where the 2 a-sides are actually just solo tracks, so this is close enough.

 

This is great news to have Mai and Chisaki releasing music. Can't wait!!

It's interesting that they put Mai's name first instead of Chisaki's. I wonder if it's because seniority in terms of soloist's tenure.

Seems like they are making them a unit, like GAM? Hahaha.

 

I am really worried for Chisaki's voice. Seems like she never quite recovered even after she has graduated.

Might just be an alphabetical thing, since Ozeki comes before Morito in gojuuon order.

MV is here! It's simple, but I like it. The song is not bad too. At least I like it better than MM's singles lately. This song sounds like a classic HP release.

The song is not bad, very anime-sounding. The music video is alright. But seems like they are marketing them to be GAM 2.0, just less sexy. 

Can't wait for the 2nd a-side.

I like the song and the MV. I'm just a bit worried about Chii's voice. It's still very damaged. I hope she'll be alright.

Nice that we got additional tracks!! And yes, the second a-side screams Country Girls. It's nice they finally play some homage. I am sure the music video will be Country Girls-inspired.
