I don't think people are considering the possibility that she may not be wanting to be more active than she has been so far. Throughout her time in the group, she was never expected to show off and parade her talents like Miki was even though we know she had been present doing her thing in the background. She only brought original works to her events once or twice, unlike Miki, Karin, even Hirai Miyo.

And don't forget she graduated for health reasons, and she was still having to drop out of events after her first single.

^^ this  sometimes I wonder if UFA talents like Maa-chan should go down Amuro Namie's route (taking up self-production and self-marketing responsibilities like that now-retired singer from Okinawa did starting in 2001 when she left Komuro's company) for better success in showbiz  

Namie was never part of TK's "company" (he didn't have one). She was a part of Rising Productions her entire career until she split from them in 2015. Which would have never happened if she had retired when she originally wanted.

I finally managed to listen to the whole single. Well, what terrible choices of songs were made.

 

Sorry! and Todome should have been the two main songs, and the two others b-sides. Really, both songs are sooooo good! First one is pretty catchy. In the second one, I almost did not recognise Maa's voice but it's a very cool and powerful song.

Arashi no Number can work well for a live performance but it's too experimental for me to listen to it just like that.

Kachou fuugetsu Shunkashuutou is a good song that deserved an epic MV. I like it.

Her version of C\C is probably the best among the five.
