The scary part of the newbs is that they not only have good singing skill, but they also fit TF's image. And as YellowAccel mentioned, TF is not about singing skill. I dare say that TF members can sing songs from other groups quite well (proof: Yuumi's Hitori de ikiraresou tte) but I've never seen a member from other groups perform TF's songs well, except Layla and Ruru.

Okay I just heard Yuumi sing in the latest episode of Ikuze Tsubaki Factory and OMG she is INCREDIBLE. Her voice is so pleasant and expressive! She's got good technique and she doesn't oversing at all--I really feel like she's going to be a force to be reckoned with in H!P from now on.

Yuumi mentioned in her internet signing event with Mizuho that she had no previous training in regards to her singing but did often go to karaoke & sang a lot with her older sister at home.

Yuumi's recording session for Namida was in this week's Upcoming episode. Her ability to adjust her vocal expression was impressive! She was asked to do it more "bad", and she seemed to know exactly what he was asking for, and added more attitude and roughness.

She seems to be good at adding with her voice. I know I'm not explaining that well, but I think you'll get it if you watch the clip

I'm excited to see more from her, as she gets more comfortable!

It's like adjusting the voice to fit the mood of the song. Let's take Omizu as an example. When she sings Ima Nanji or Ishiki Takai, her voice is very soft and girly. However, when it comes to DanshaISM, it's another story.  No doubt she and Runo are pushed more vocally

Evidently, just as being in Juice=Juice surrounded by so many good singers seems to improve the singing of anyone who joins the group, joining Tsubaki Factory seems to level up a new girl's looks. Yuumi has become a doll!

Why so quiet around here? (I guess because posting is not that easy lately). 

Edit: when I post I'm taken to an error page, but when I navigate back to the thread, and then refresh, the post appears.

 

Anyhow, the post date for Yuumi's 1+1 video with Kamiko is July 22nd - 4 weeks ago. 

I think it's the best 1+1 video I've seen, very epic. Is it just my imagination or is Moe slightly floored?

Whenever Yuumi has the grumpy look, she always reminds me of Junna

 

 

 

 

Anyways, regarding TF's new gens, unlike Runo, Yuumi is featured both as a visual member and a vocalist. Her singing level is very near to Omizu/Kiki, and the only mistake I notice when she's singing live is that she drops her mic too soon.
