Really, i still can't believe that in a place like the japanese entertainment industry and its "particular rules", a woman with two scandals can be hired by a national tv network, and all in the same year. Things must be changed a lot there.

The antis would have never let her come back peacefully. What else should she have done?

I keep seeing people talking about that she actually had this announcer job lined up since last fall? I don't know how reliable this information is, but if that were true this whole thing about her coming back and postponing it is a really weird move. Either way, I'm not convinced that her graduating has anything to do with fans being too hostile. Sounds like there are a lot of things that have been in the works we have no insight to...

I just stumbled upon this group on Facebook where they share a lot of things about idols and H!P, but I don't know how reliable they are. There is this post, where they wrote there is a rumor that Mizuki wanted to graduate on 2021 but the company didn't let her(?) and after that it was the same with Rio, but because of the scandal she can leave now. Did any of you hear something about that for either Mizuki or Rio??

I can understand that, it wouldn't be comfortable to have a real graduation ceremony!!

 

I'm surprised she can be hired at TV Tokyo with a troublemaker reputation... 

 

I feel like the band is moving again, that's good after years with changes (my personal opinion), I didn't really like Mizuki era.

I can't say I'm surprised about Rio graduating from the group after all that happened but it's still a bit sad for me. She's been my favorite member in Morning Musume in recent years, as someone who doesn't follow the group closely, she was the reason I checked their news every now and then. I know it would have been complicated for her to be back like normal after the controversies, so I guess this is expected. It's just sad that all of this happened :/

 

Well anyway, it's good to know that she already has a new job for after graduation, best luck to her! Hopefully everyone (Rio, the other members, the fans) can move on and focus on better things.

So she will still be part of the new MM single, but she will not be part of the concert tour? I seriously doubt they will give her a graduation ceremony with the group. 

I have a feeling she will just have her own solo events to bid her fans goodbye (and for the agency to milk her worth for one last time) and that's it.

 

I guess it's for the best for everyone.

While I'm not a fan of her coming back, I'm OK with whatever jobs she's offered in the future. However, I sense that to Japanese anti-fans, this is not the end. While it's surprising that she's offered a job at TV Tokyo after this incident, I hope that it's a working environment where she does not have to complain too much about.
