Poor sweet Yokoyan! I suppose having asthma can be debilitating to her duties. I don't want to stop seeing her, but if it's for the better, then so be it :'(

Yes, that's concerning... She must be worried by this sickness already... It would be too bad not being able to perform for her graduation.

Oh no, the news are concerning. I hope she's ok  May she rest and would be fit for her final concert. 

She worked so hard the past years!  She had a few health problems. I hope she recovers in a way it's ok (thinking of her asthma)

If for some reason she doesn't recover. I have an idea. Have her perform in place of Sayumi when the rest of the group were singing Mikaeri Bijin. After all, Reina is exrtemly gorgeous, and would fit her so well!

Media picked up this news from UF - Yokoyama will be on hiatus and will not participate in Morning Musume activities starting tomorrow, November 8, until November 22.

She was advised to take three weeks off to do treatments and recuperate from flare-ups caused by severe Meniere's disease.

It's so sad that her last weeks and events as a MM member will be in hiatus. She'll only be back for her graduation I suppose.

Hopefully she will be well by then. The thought of her just going off without any graduation because of the condition would be appalling. 
Plus it's a big arena, I bet she would love to bid goodbye to her entertainment life in this avenue.

It's a real shame. I was looking forward to seeing her in Sapporo next week... But I know she wouldn't have taken this decision lightly. She must have been under a lot of stress, struggling with this health problem while worrying about fans' expectations. I hope, despite this setback, she's able to enjoy her graduation and leave the group shining as brightly as she always has. 

 

Despite almost no new songs, this has been the biggest rollercoaster year for MM for a long time. It's just one thing after another.
