I think it's pretty obvious that Kenshūsei Unit '22 will form a new group maybe next year.

I'm not expecting Yulia or Karin to be moved to a different group (eg: MM).

 

I consider the girls from Unit '22 as a group already.

I'm just waiting for the group "debut" name announcement...

I don't know if it's true, but it seems like being in MM means having higher salary. However, being in MM also means the talents will be buried somewhere, unless Fuku-chan, Miki, Sakura and Ayumin graduate together. Therefore, it's a very bad idea to add either Yulia or Karin to MM.

 

Furthermore, Yulia, Karin, Honohono, Ayana and Hasumi will debut, maybe next year or 2024. This will be similar to Icchan - Kurumin - Momohime or Kirara - Nanami - Kanami - Madopi.

 

No matter what happens, I guess that 1 KSS will be added to MM, either Mifu or Hana. Mifu can shine in MM, but the manager has to push her from the start, just like how Kitario is pushed right now. Hana can attract audiences by being on TV shows, but it seems like the manager doesn't want someone like that in MM. Others are still inexperienced, so besides Hana or Mifu, I will be very surprised if KSS others than those 2 debut.

^ The way I theorize it is that MM has greater prestige than the other groups. This could mean that it is more difficult to enter MM and also that the salary might be lower. It sure would be interesting to hear if anyone has an inside scoop.

It might be that group has some influence on salary, but the only info on salaries in h!p I've heard in the past is that pay increases with seniority. If that's true, MM's 9ki and Takeuchi Akari are the highest paid in terms of their basic monthly salary. But members also get paid separately for any work they do for other companies (ads, photoshoots, acting gigs etc.). Meaning the popularity of a member will also affect their pay.

I don't think the KSS get paid a regular salary. And there was talk a while ago that they had to pay a fee to join but I forget how much it was.

This is all based on rumours that I think came out back when Sayumi was still a member. So even if they were true then they might not be anymore. But since the topic came up I'd thought I'd share what I remember hearing.

Any combination of 2-4 of these girls would be a good generation. But if I were in charge, I'd pick: Momoha, Niina, Meisa and Chihiro. The rest can debut wherever. I don't mind.

I'm also excited for a lot of the really tiny girls but don't want to pass judgement on them till they're older

Well I got Niina and her member color right... I think for the new members Momoha will actually be part of MM afterall and I hope Meisa is with her!

I'm low key dreading 18th gen because I've lost all trust in H!P to make any intelligent decisions with regards to MM. But of the current KSS these are the ones I think have a chance.

 

Miyakoshi Chihiro - 15 - Good dancer, and she has a unconventional look that I find quite striking (similar to early Harunan in vibe, but very different physically). Voice isn't so good. If they want a dancer, she'd be good.

Otsubo Mano - 14 - She's kind of average in terms of performance, but she's cute and confident on stage. If it's a large generation, I could see her being the "project girl"

Sugihara Meisa - 13 (turning 14 in Dec.) - Probably the most popular of the current KSS. Her dancing is good, and her singing is decent. She gives me a similar vibe to a young Maachan, but is already a better performer than she was at debut.  

Ishikawa Hanano - 12 - of the properly young girls, she's the only one who I don't think would look totally out of place in MM (no shade to the rest, their just too smol right now). She's a strong dancer, and her voice shows potential too. That said, I don't particularly want any MM members under 14, I think any younger is just too young.

 

 

The only problem is they already dumped all the strong singers in random groups for no reason!! I hope they get someone really good from the audition.
