So after I watched NOGIBINGO! (the poor AKBINGO! ripoff/ copycat show) I found that she's the only girl that somewhat appeals to me in the whole of Nogizaka46 that I could encounter in the show so far. Sadly one girl alone can't sell the whole group; my bias against anything copycat (even if it's official sanctioned by AkiP) is simply too strong.


Couldn't she transfer to a 48 group?

As far as the whole "copycat" issue, that was something I felt strongly against when it came to the group known as AKBN0 (later renamed to N Zero), because it was just cheap, blatant and really ridiculous.

But Nogizaka46 is only called official rivals. But are they? Well, they certainly sell enough to be high up there in terms of total sales, but they are definitely in the 48 family the way things have developed.

Perhaps they aren't a sister group, but cousins? Sure. They have a lot in common, and one common denominator is the same producer in Akimoto. That means concept and girls are pretty much the same, and if you give Nogizaka46 a little more time, and perhaps watch their other shows as well, you'll quickly realize there's more than just one girl to enjoy in Nogizaka46.

I agree, Nogizaka has many interesting girls. Maybe I shouldn't say this since it's Erika's thread but I think she's one of the least interesting members.

I think that would've been loads of fun. Classical music and pop music with them competing against each others

Ikuta Erika, at least to me, exemplifies the perfect idol. She has areas where she's exceptional, musically of course, as well as acting talent. There was an episode of Nogizakatte doko where she had to confess her love to a senpai. Her expressions and mannerisms were amazing Then on the other hand, she has areas where she has almost zero talent (ie cooking), but when she fails she fails spectacularly. 

 

^ I'd just love to hear Ikuta and Sakiko perform a duet together...anything more would be icing on a fantastic cake!!

By the way, which episode was this? I haven't actually been able to follow all of these episodes and I am probably lagging behind terribly much in terms of downloads as well, so need to remedy that asap.

Well,they are related to each other.They have the same guy producing them,right? Atleast it is not some random group from another agency with a show called "HANABINGO!" (Idk,came up with a random name ).

Nogizaka became CM characters in [From Aqua ~The natural water from mountains stream ~] commercial.

It will be shown from 10th of October.

 

Moreover,

it seems like big posters of each member are put on vending machines of JR East stations!

I'll become an MC of 82nd NHK national school music competition.

 

Since elementary school and even now I love chorus singing, so there is a lot of emotions involved.

 

In the 3rd year of middle school there was first school chorus contest, but in my class there were many naughty people, so it was difficult to get everyone in order.

 

However, we kept singing and eventually made it possible for everyone to face the same way and when we won the contest we shared the joy while shedding tears.

 

During 3 years of high school I was taking "chorus singing" as elective class and performed in charity concerts.

 

For some reason, when I was singing I was able to forget about urgent or unpleasant things, and creating harmony with others was so fun I didn't notice how 3 years had passed.

 

I never made it to N-con (transl.note: NHK national school chorus contest), but

on 6th year of elementary school I sang "Letter" by Angela Aki at learning presentation

and on 3rd year of middle school I sand "Testimony" by flumpool-san at chorus contest

 

"Testimony" was also the song performed on graduation ceremony of middle school.

But because of work I was not able to go to the graduation ceremony till the end.

 

On our last practice before the ceremony,

from the first verse my tears wouldn't stop running,

and the friend, who was conducting us, seeing my tears also started to cry,

and then everyone became soggy and kept singing in tears.

 

When you do chorus singing, you really put a lot of thoughts into it.

Enormous amount of time and memories are packed in such a short moment.

 

I believe that the participants also will embrace a lot of various feelings, so

I'll be firmly watching and listening them for that very moment,

and I'll do my best to report it to the viewers.

 

This is my first time being a host, so I'm really nervous.

And at the same time, I'm excited that I can hear all your chorus singings.

 

High school students department - 10th of October (Sat)

Elementary school students department - 11th of October (Sun)

Middle school students department - 12th of October (Mon)

 

The time on each occassion is 2~5 pm.

 

It will be a live broadcast on E-Tele from NHK Hall.

 

I will be hosting elementary and middle school students sections.

 

Yoshine Kyoko will be hosting high school students section.

 

I also watched drama "Omotesando Koukou Gasshoubu!" with her,

and maybe I won't meet her directly,

but I'm glad we will be doing same work together ♪

"Every dog goes to heaven~don♪372"

 

Last night I went to watch "Every dog goes to heaven"~

 

 

I took everyone's roles close to heart and got encharmed, laughing a lot and getting scared a lot.

 

I liked how the world perspective in the story was twisting, it was quite interesting.

 

Despite the tension of murder and death, it was a serious comedy on the verge of laughter!

 

When we met after it was finished, Maichun said how wonderful it is, that she saw "Rainbow prelude" exactly on year ago and thought that she also wants to stand up on the stage and now she is on the stage.

 

And Yuttan said that she got addicted to the stage when she saw "Rainbow prelude", so I went back home full of joy (*ﾟｰﾟ)>

 

When I saw everyone on the stage yesterday I thought to myself that I must work hard too~

 

Today it's the shooting for Music Japan, but

I looked up those 6 people, like "Hey, those are the people who went on stage yesterday" 笑

 

The performance is quite long, still another half of it, but

do your best till the end! 

 

And then "Princess knight"

 

The main graphic was presented to public!

It's a story about a girl, who doesn't talk and who was invited to dancing club in high school to participate in dance contest, but on the very contest day she had to fly away to New York.

 

I loved the relationship between Naachan and Maian and their facial expressions.

 

 

Everyone are facing to the day after tomorrow 笑

 

These T-shirts' design was made by Naachan. It's cute~

 

Shooting location is surrounded with paddy fields.

 

 

 

It was a good spot!!

 

 

My daily cloth that gets into photos occassionaly is so Marika-ish.

Good evening

 

I was a host of elementary and middle school sections of 82nd Nationwide Contest of Music sponsored by NHK ♪

 

 

It was my first time being a host and I was nervous, but I was gulpingly breathing in the charm of chorus singing.

It was really great time.

 

We saw it on stage for just a short moment, but everyone's eyes were full of emotions, that were accumulating up to the very moment of the performance.

 

Chorus singing is such a nice thing..

 

Dear participants, thank you for your work!!

I was happy to support you from close distance.

These two days is a present from you!

Thank you!

 

 

I was glad to sing "Chikyuu wo tsutsumu utagoe" together with Nicche comedy duo ♪

Nicche-san, you were great at putting viewers full of tension into mild mood.

I'd love to meet with you again!

 

The author of "Chikyuu wo tsutsumu utagoe" lyrics is Hinohara Shigeaki-san. He's 104 years old.

I was surprised with his willfulness to music and his energy.

 

I hope I'll be healthy as well, drinking olive oil every day, like Hinohara-san.

 

 

The more I listened to "Present" together with "Sekai no owari (Sekaowa)" members, the more I got addicted to it.

I would listen to it forever if I had time.

I won't forget this song and the memories of this day!

 

Announcer Satou-san and N-con staff members helped me so much!

I felt relieved because of your warmth and gentle characters.

Today there was a handshake event in Makuhari.

 

Since Halloween is close, I wore 2 costumes!!

 

First, Eri flower

 

 

Nostalgic comeback!

 

I used it in NogiBingo!3 and thought about wearing it at some handshake event, so I used it this time♪

And Ikutarian

 

Ikutarian's head is quite heavy, so I gave it up and put on the desk.

 

Instead of that, I've grown tactile receptors!

Other members were wearing costumes of a cat or nurse, it was fun~

 

At handshake event a lot of topics were raised, but

 

I started practicing for "Princess Knight"!

 

It's fun to absorb new things every time

 

The story development is quite speedy,

a lot of singing and a lot of dancing and fence fightings.

 

I'm not doing the movements yet, so it's hard to make the image yet, but

I feel excited to find out what it will become into ♪

 

Yesterday was my first fence fighting practice.

It's hard

Gotta practice a lot to look strong~

 

Cast members and staff members are so kind to me, I'll do my best to repay their warmth!

 

I wish to deliver the lovely world to all of you, who look forward to it
