There was some resistance, as I recall, to me creating a Kiyoshi Ryujin 25 thread back in the day, but they're back with an insane lineup:

The group was always something of a who's-who of the indie idol scene, but this is major. The first release is a cover of the original Kiyoshi Ryujin 25 song.

Didn't know where to post this, so I'll try my luck here.

It's been a long time, so idk when it even was, maybe during platinum era or early colorful era days? There was a Japanese girl on YouTube who made dance covers for H!P songs for years actually. And she sang too, she got a lot of praise for her stable singing while dancing due to all the practice. A lot of people here were rooting for her to take the MM auditions (IIRC she actually did try once or twice but never got to the final rounds, or maybe that was a rumor, I don't remember). All I remember about her is that she had a little brother who sometimes appeared in her videos (which most of them were recorded in their living room or somewhere in their house) and I think she also lived somewhere in the countryside? I'm honestly just trying to remember what her name was or what her youtube channel was called, and if anybody knows what happened to her, if she just gave up and disappeared or something else? It's just a fun piece of memory from my early fandom years here, and I enjoyed watching her covers, which is why I'm curious if anybody else remembers.

Cuca (くーか)! She auditioned for Morning Musume's 11th, 12th and I think 14th generation but didn't pass. She then went on to audition and got in one of the 48 groups.

Thanks for all the info, it's all coming back to me now. Of course, Cuca.   
Loved watching her covers back then and it's nice that her YT channel is still up, definitely feels nostalgic to scroll through. I'm surprised she ended up debuting elsewhere, I didn't know.
And wow, she looks like a completely different person now. Not sure if I personally vibe with the look, but if she feels better in her skin like this, all the power to her.
