I'll be there Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. Maybe we can do open Mic karaoke?

I'm still not sure if I'm going but if I do it'll just be on saturday. Its kinda expensive for me since I dont have a lot of money but I'm trying to find the money to go for a day :3
Hopefully I'll be able to sneak away to the karaoke room and do super cool open mic idol songs
But the site said something about bringing your own music so I dont really understand how it works...

We could go to Japantown and have a H!P shopping spree. Buy out Kunokuniya's entire selection of idol music.

Is/has anyone been attending the JPop Summit in Japantown right now? Seems like a good time for a small H!P fan meetup. The first day is pretty much over as I post this but we still have another day.

I'm considering watching the AKB documentary at the New People theater (I know, blasphemy, right?) but I don't know if I could wake up and get there early enough.

I'm glad I wrote this topic in thread to see some replies, to say I didn't put something completely mindless on here haha , wish I knew and replied to some of em sooner.. to me lol.

It seems like karaoke is popular within the H!P fan-community...so how about some of us go out and do it? There's Filmore karaoke (SF) I know that has special rates on certain hours or Gamba in Cupertino that has a lotta JPOP and nice specials too.

I'll check back in less than a week!

Why can I find fans of every other Japanese music genre/group but I can't even find 1 H!P fan? I know there should be at least 1 or 2 wotas near me...right?

I'll probably be there for a short time on Saturday but I plan on being there the whole day Sunday (hopefully I won't have too much trouble finding parking). They seem to have more notable guests this year...I wanna check out this Kylee person and DJ Amaya.

I haven't been to any convention lately, but i went to the Cerry Blossom festival this year.

I kinda wish H!P appears in the Bay Area one day. i'll go even if i die that day.

I didn't know about it until I saw pics all over some of my friend's Facebook walls.  Wanted to go ~~ -(, but was working instead.  poop!

I've really been craving karaoke...Morning Musume karaoke and I'm horrible with remembering actual Japanese lyrics.  But I looove to just make myself sound like what they're singing -].

Let me know if you want to join, I want to create an event to be happening within the next month, so by June 17th, random+H!P karaoke has been done sometime before that !!

I've been wondering for a long time when Up Front was finally gonna send someone our way! I didn't think J-Pop Summit would be the place considering Kylee's been their biggest act so far, but with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu coming and Union Square being taken over I suppose it only makes sense to start raising our expectations.

Time for us Bay Area H!P fans to come together! All 3 or 4 of us!
