I only know that this is a soccer team with Hello Project members but I don't exactly know who their opponents are and what kind of tournaments they play in. All the websites I found about them is in Japanese. Can anyone tell me more about them?

huntherx17 - I know that they play/used too play in a tournament that had other soccer teams and each soccer team were created from different groups. Like ladies from the TV news and so on. Someone else should help you out

its different from real soccer/football... the field is about 1/4? of the real size soccer field, its indoor without fense... and fewer people on the field

That meeting that they had with all those famous players was wicked. I mean, how do you do get all those top players together and to help out these girls. You need to have some really good contacts and I can't believe that H!P/Tsunku clan payed them because that would mean alot of cash

And the worst thing is that Im kind of pissed because I'll never meet those guys and miki etc they just met them..just like that... *poff*...just because they have the status "celebrity" in Japan

It's not so different in spanish, just change the "h" for a "l" and the meaning is the same, but since cats seems to be very appreciated in Japan I don't think they find the name weird.

it's a disgrace to profesional football player. i can't even compare the Gatas player to my school team.... because frankly speaking, their skill are way too bad. althought i enjoy watching my favorite Morning Musume playing futsal

It was fun to watch though. Seeing a Jpop-idol group do sports is something you don't see everyday. ^^

After watching so many episodes of Gatas matches in musume DOKYU! i began to ask a question like, is there a real futsal league like that before gatas joined? Or the league was made up because Gatas were formed.
Nanka, in any sense, Gatas's members are idols, they were not meant to play futsal or sumthin and i believe there are many many more sporty girl that play futsal better than Yoshizawa, mikitty and else.. but they kept winning..like isnt that weird?okashii ne?

is it possible that someone control the score behind it...and plus with idols in their team, Gatas would automatically have the biggest supporters out there...

its not like i hate gatas..i like them...hahaha mikitty, nono and rika chan playing futsal, i love to see it..;p but thats just weird for me since i dont think they really excel at futsal..and sumtimes i put myself in the opponent team..like, the whole crowd supporting Gatas...when they score a goal, nobody is cheering for them..thats kinda sad...

The Fuuji TV cup that you see covers now in Dokyu and also might have seen
footage from last year i think are Invite cup made up to get matches for
Gatas. For how real the matches are. The totaly lost their few first matches
they came second last in years Fuji TV and won this year. So my conclution is
they are real. But some teams they play against arnt as well prepared just like
Gatas wasnt in their first matches. (example thier runover of the new team DREAM)

as far as i know they've been practicing a lot more now. last year they were getting creamed (well not really, but they lost a couple games and stuff)
i guess they just practice more than the other teams.

they're doing very well in the league this year, i think they won all their matches.
i kinda would like to see some teams that put up a fight against them. it seems like all the teams they play aren't on the same level as they are.
the only team that could actually beat them is Carezza.. who has a player that could easily slip through their defense.

i havent been watching the Dokyus though. ive only seen the highlights from the flets diary. i think Casper torrented the whole tournament but i havent got the chance to get it.

actually when they played with professional futsal team.... (such as Exhibition team, High School Futsal team) they suffered big loss. (eg. Sport Fest 2003, matches in Spring 2004)

later when they played with TV-team, Artist-team..... they owned them . they are good in futsal but no way near the professional team. yeah they can kick some chicks's butt but that's it.



in case u dunno. i love Gatas. especially No.6 and No.9. i like watching Konno plays sport too.

yah they tried playing against real futsal teams and lost. Their coach is a famous former Japanese player. I think their best performances are still in the Odaiba Cup then the recent 739 cups

Nono is an All-Out aggresive goal keeper. but i prefer Konno for no specific reason. (i like to see Konno in hardworking and serious mode instead of her kawaii side.) i can't choose based on their skills bcoz both of them equally.... bad.

well nono is a bit playful i guess. in the previous t'nament that they got 2nd...nono made a few mistakes (catching the ball outside the D box twice even the 2nd one was accidentally). however, i think both keepers are ok.

nono is the more athletic type and yeah she likes to run out too fast (Jorge Compos? )..Konno is the more stable, in the box type, but she is a bit slow (my pace type ha). yes agree with Red... Konno is cuter when she is engrossed in futsal

Anyway, I don't follow Gatas so I can't tell which league are the girls playing. The only tournament I can say something is the Odaiba cup and the teams in that tournament were all made with show biz. related people. It would be very suspicious if Gatas won a tournament with teams that really practices unless they train really hard too... I'm not saying they don't train, but with the schedule they have to keep (mostly MM) it seems rather difficult, but maybe Country Musume and the other with not so much activity are training in the meantime

Anyway, I like Konno very much in her GK outfit, being from a soccer loving country and having girls in a very high esteem is nice watching girls more involved in some sports traditionally "exclusive" for men, and being one of my top 3 current MM members, it's obvious that I like her more than nono.

oops.. he was The Keeper i could remember off-hand that had a similar playing "style" but not skill of coz i remember the last time gatas was compared to professional players there were a lot of bad feelings

one cute moment: when they won the PK match at the recent match, Konno was still like registering what was happening for like 5s.
