I feel somehow affronted that Tanpopo had to share one with Pucchimoni, but then I suppose they already had their own full best already. And the age old question as to whether All For One is a shuffle or a special unit is answered!

Maybe I'm a traditionalist, but its times like this theres nothing else to say: DOOOOOOOOOOOMED!!!!1!!!1!

GEEZ, those are expensive... I know I'll have to end up buying at least one when I see the covers, though.

COULD THIS BE THE END?? I'll try to be optimistic. However, it seems discomforting when the only artists I can think of that have continued after their "BEST" releases are Otsuka Ai, Hamasaki Ayumi, and Namie Amuro... and maybe Tanpopo, but that was shortlived.

You think there'll be unique covers? I'm under the impression they'll all be like, white background covers with just the title of the album and the artists name in a different colour for each release. (Perhaps following the rainbow considering theres 7 releases ) I'd love unique ones.

Maki continued for 2 years after she released hers and is still sorta going. Whenever avex decided they've worked the H!P out of her system. EXILE too. But then they all sell much, much better than Yuko and MK

The fact that the T&C one is only 8 tracks long is such a waste. This was an opportunity to actual put Inaba to some use and let her record a solo or two that might bring her limited fanbase in to buy them out of curiousity. Or I suppose they could have included Endless Love and YES! Shiawase, considering C-ute have kinda made them known now to most H!P fans. OR they could have spliced T&C's vocals with the C-ute arrangement and called them remixes. That would have been potentially awesome. It just feels like 8 tracks is too little when you're paying full album price.

Lots of active J-pop artists release "best" albums...

Morning Musume has several "best" albums out (Best! Morning Musume 1, Best! Morning Musume 2 and ALL SINGLES COMPLETE) and they are still around. Matsuura Aya had a "best" album too, in 2005, and she's still active too (though not as much as she once was). Having a "best" album is not an automatic portent of doom. -_-

Yea, I doubt best means doom. It's just another way to sell albums and hopefully grab more casual sales. However there is plenty of doom for my wallet! even though I own a lot of the singles, that will not stop me from buying them. It would be cool if the covers had a theme that linked all the albums together or something though.

True, several artists have best albums. But which have mega bests? Seems a bit like the be all and end all to me. But of course its only idle speculation; there's no harm in that.

Though, I probably won't buy any of these, I don't think they're a bad idea at all. Some people don't want to have to buy every single a group has just to get the songs they want. Nor do they necessarily want a full album containing songs that aren't as popular that they don't care about. But if it can increase fanbase, there's nothing wrong with it; casual fans will probably dig these a lot.

And it will bring attention to some of the quality groups that aren't getting much attention nowadays, ie Country Musume, Melon Kinenbi, and a lot of the shuffle/special groups that may have fallen out of people's sight.

Actually... I'll probably get the T&C Bomber one... just because I don't know enough about them, but would like some of their material.

I hope the covers are cool... that would be a definate way for fans who already own all these song to be more entitled to purchasing these as well.

I hope people will take this opportunity to give Taiyo to Ciscomoon/T&C Bomber a chance! All of their songs are good, pretty much, and they could really use more fans! Plus, RuRu is so adorable and has such a great voice. Atsuko is a great dancer and singer. Shinoda Miho is a gymnast! C'mon, you can't get better than that!

Without any unreleased/rare/exclusive material, I don't think I'll buy those CDs (pocket relief ) but overall I think it's a great opportunity for everyone who wants to grab a bite of H!P's "lately underrated" artists and, also, a great opportunity for UFA to make an extra buck, just to keep warm this winter

Not the most interesting CDs, with nothing new/unreleased on them. But at least some old groups will be available at the shops again.
